Ferguson — Local services in Pittsburg

I do not recommend this store. I have only used them once, because we went through a builder. Our salesperson was unenthusiastic and not very responsive. We were able to get all the light fixtures for our house on time except our main dining room light. We were not aware it was on backorder for quite a while after we placed the order. When it did finally come in, they scheduled an electrician (different company) to come out and install it. The electrician showed up without the light. Apparently Ferguson was supposed to ship it to us. Our salesperson drove it down herself the next day, but did not bring any light bulbs. She went out to the store to get some (without checking which wattage was needed). My fiance had to schedule around work for all this. We discovered later that the fixture had an obvious scratch on it. We asked for a refund, but...

Don't do business with Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting in Chesterfield - especially Kathy who has been unbelievably unhelpful. They have a terrible selection, non-existent customer service and we've had nothing but problems with every light fixture, every light bulb arrived burnt out or burned out within a week and our fancy "touch" kitchen faucet has a mind of its own. We've been waiting nearly 5 months for our showpiece lighting fixture and now Kathy tells us it's back ordered - there's no end in sight. Any supplier is better...

Because they wouldnt sell me a much needed capacitor for my ac unit on a hot summer day...i wasallowed to walk in find the part i needed then told i couldnt purchase the part because i was not a contractor store policy....that policy will never get me to return any buisness to this place ever again...and im now shopping for an entire ac / heater unit to upgrade my system...ive also got the needed contractors licence now too ...my money was not good enough for Furguson two months ago it is good now...NOT...
