Dropped by this place out of a recommendation from an acquaintance. It’s a small serving counter for fried fish/chicken, cooked while one waits.
What’s notable here is the amiable staff.
BUT THE FOOD WAS A CATASTROPHIC DISAPPOINTMENT. The fish in particular was the blandest food I’ve tasted. It’s fried crisp but neither the batter nor the fish were seasoned. It was splashed with what looks like powdered pepper but there’s no pepper, not even a hint of salt. Worst, the batter is like tasteless crumbled cardboard. It was very thick, the coated batter can be peeled off the fish. The take away 10-piece “party” fish was a terrible mistake!!!
