Uptown Kitchen Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Ordered to our hotel as soon as we got in town. Kiddo was starving. Pizza delivery time said 45 mins. Followed up at an hour just to confirm order went through. Was told driver just left and will be there in 15 minutes. At an hour and a half called again. Was told driver got lost they’ll send new driver. Will be there in 15 minutes. At an hour and 45 minutes I called to tell them it was too late and I no longer wanted the food. My kid was starving and we’ll just buy him some Mac and cheese from the hotel market. Put me on hold for a while and came back to tell me the driver had arrived so they couldn’t give me a refund. Ran down to the lobby of hotel. No driver. Driver calls. Says he’ll be there in two minutes… 10 minutes later I call and say I want a refund. We need to go to bed. They put me on hold for a while and came back and say driver is in lobby. I say I don’t won’t food. I want a refund. It’s now been 2.25 hours. He says sorry but he’s busy. The original driver is new to the area and couldn’t find the location. Which I find hysterical considering it’s a hotel and I just drove 5 hours to get here and found the place with no problem. I asked him if the food was remade for the second driver. Oh yes. I usually order door dash. And had abetter experiences through the app. I ordered around 11.30 at night on the 9th of September. And asked for breaded wings welldone. And a side of fries easily cooked. Soft on the fries. If they could mostly flats. Understandable if not possible on the flats. My food was all wrong. Details matter to me. My wings were not well done. And my fries were over cooked. Almost felt like the restaurant has dyslexia. Couldn't enjoy my meal. So I call the restaurant all day to talk to the owner cause I want a refund back to my card. And the lady refused to give her name answering the phone but she has an sounds foreign and says the manager isn't there they come random times. I been calling almost every 2 hours. And I feel played with. I loved the food the few times I ordered door dash. My 1st time calling the restaurant cause I realized they were close to my house and placed an order the gentleman that took my order screwed it up or the cook. Nawl I rather save my Dollars and avoid the headache and games. 1 bad time can ruin the whole vibe. And I actually love uptown kitchen.. Food usually good as the sky is blue. First visit, first impression not happy with the service although the food was good. Haven't tried the full menu considering all the reviews but I ordered pierogies. It was baked well in oven over butter and onions in garlic sauce. Garlic bread was good even dipping it in the dish. Salad was just basic. So I asked if they had grape fanta and guy said yes and I asked for extra french dressing. Delivery guy showed up with root beer and ranch dressing. Driver was nice and apologetic but wasn't his fault, so I called to complain. Confusion in kitchen where they dont take time to double check order. So they came back w coke and french dressing quick. Driver called and ask what number was on the salad package and I said 26 . Which was my ticked number. Somehow they wrote wrong number on the bag for salad so probably someone else had my french.
