This place was AWESOME & delicious!!! BUUUUT, the woman I believe is the owner, maybe a manager, but I’m sure she’s the owner…. Lol she was GROUCHYYYYYY OKAY!?!?! I mean GRRRRROUUUUCHHHYYYYYY….i understand her shop was literally BUSY AS EVER!!!!! But, smile!!!!! And she was soooooo like demanding of her employees… I watched her shout at the young lady at the cash register from across the shop and demand her to enter something in the computer… The woman at the cash register rolled her eyes like she’s used to being treated like this this aaaall the time…. And don’t you dare ask about ingredients!!! I was curious as to what type of sugar is used to… Just because I like to know some details about what I’m putting in my body… And boys she got sassy! She did not like that question, “WE JUST YSE REGULAR, THIS ISNT LILE SOME VEGAN HEALTH PLACE!” DAMN LADY!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😂😂😂 just answer the question, I didn’t need the attitude part, “this isn’t some vegan health place,” … the question wasn’t asked to offend anyone or bother anyone or hurt anyone’s feelings… Literally just wanted to know what I was about to eat!!! Outside of that, the food was FREAKING DELICIOUS OMGGGG!!!...

There are not enough good things to say about this place! Here's my story... I'm hosting a dinner party where one of the guests has a severe dairy allergy. While I'm able to adjust dinner to include a vegan option, I was having no luck with desserts. It's also worth noting that me, trying to bake, is a recipe for disaster. I was cautiously optimistic when I saw the Allegro Vegan Bakery website, so I drove over the next morning. Wow, was I amazed! The croissants, pastries, cookies, muffins, bread... everything looked and smelled so wonderful! I really had a hard time believing that any croissant without real butter could look and taste that good! Needles to say, I bought a lot and proudly displayed my dessert tray. No one had a clue that all of the dessert options were vegan. And my vegan guest... we'll she almost fainted when I told her that she could partake of any of it.

Unbelievably delicious vegan bakery makes the absolute best sourdough and desserts, you’re spoiled for choice! Their breakfast sandwich is huge and so delicious that you just can’t believe it’s vegan. I recommend getting the harissa added. I love their roasted seitan sandwich as well, the flavor combination is perfect! I’m super partial to their olive loaf for my own Shakshuka at home as it’s phenomenal, but their spelt loaf is outstanding as well and paired with their Muhammara, foodie heaven. I want to try everything on the menu, but everything that I’ve had is so good, it becomes an instant fav! Only warning, you may become addicted to this kind of excellence. Seriously. The apple galette alone will make you crave it.. lol.. Also, I love that you can order ahead of time on Toast, very convenient for a lunch run. Very kind and courteous staff as well which just makes for a pleasant experience overall. Be aware that you need to order sandwiches earlier in the day so you...
