I was skeptical of this place at first because I've never been to a tea house like this before so wasn't sure what to expect. However, their selection is massive and the quality of their drinks are amazing. Definitely such a gem for a tea enthusiast and very worth the cost. I got the kerala masala chai and the staroborshov. The masala chai was so warm and flavorful, with just the right amount of sugar. The staroborshov has sweetener in it as well but it wasn't too sweet. The oolong and fruit sweetener they used was super well balanced. Service is a 1/5 for me because the server I had seemed miserable / tired. I did come at a busy time but I felt pretty ignored when I asked her questions or needed something. When I asked her a question and pointed for clarification, she was already looking in another direction. When it came time to pay my bill, she had me waiting about 10 minutes before she finally came out to help me. She didn't even apologize for having me wait. After I paid, she didn't even say thank you or respond to me, she just moved on to another lady who had an order to place. Atmosphere here is wonderful though. Super colorful inside and there is a lot of seating. However, it does get pretty packed inside and the lighting is pretty dim. I came here to read but noticed there were a decent amount of people with laptops / writing inside too. The table space is pretty small so if you want a place to work from home, it's not the best but it'll be possible. Overall, the food and atmosphere here is amazing. The service, depending on the time of day can be pretty bad though. I still think it's worth the experience and maybe next time when I come it'll be better. I overheard varying servers talking to other customers about their menu so it seems like people here are fairly knowledgeable about their stuff!

On a brief trip to Pittsburgh to catch my daughter’s graduation from CMU’s Cyber Security program, we stopped into Dobra Tea for some grounded conversation over steaming cups. Our party of ten was seated in a comfortable little nook dimly lit by opposing wall sconces and outfitted with colorfully tiled tables. We took some time leafing through the tea book and perusing the food menu that featured light fare (hummus plates and Turkish desserts) and then rang the small bell when we were ready to order. The server appeared almost immediately to take our order. After a short wait he reappeared with steaming pots and empty cups and we proceeded to serve ourselves from this delicious assortment. I had ordered the Rosemary Macha, each sip of which tantalized my taste buds with a delightfully enjoyable shot of flavor. Unlike other Macha tea I’ve sampled in other tea houses, or the cups I’ve prepared at home, there was no powdery residue remaining in the cup after consumption. Although I didn’t sample any of the desserts we’d ordered, my family had only positive things to say about them. I look forward to returning for another Rosemary Macha!

Dobra Tea Pittsburgh is more than a tea shop—it's a sensory retreat. The ritualistic, immersive approach to tea making, along with plush, globally influenced surroundings, make this spot feel like a hidden corner of the world right here in Pittsburgh. Ideal for tea lovers eager to explore, solo visitors wanting a quiet nook, or friends looking for shared solace over conversation and flavor. Yes, it gets busy—and yes, that sometimes means a slightly slower experience—but for many, the quality and depth of the tea experience make it more than worth the wait. The Purple Bubble tea was outstanding with Blueberry puree as add on to it, it’s a must try I would say. Whether you're a devoted tea nerd or a casual sipper, Dobra Tea delivers an unmatched oasis in the city—bring a book, bring a friend.

This place has an amazing atmosphere. It's easily the best tea house I've ever been to. Some days after a stressful work day its just nice to go sit down and to have some delicious goji squares and enjoy a nice hot Rize tea. If you are a tea lover you absolutely have to go.

There are many different options and most things are vegan/vegetarian so there's something for absolutely everyone.

I routinely bring in a chess board or some other small game and play with friends and sometimes spend hours here.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable so if you have a question they're always able to help, whether it's over the flavours or aromas to a tea, or how to prepare it on your own.

The retail section has many different accessories to browse through, many of which I have purchased for my home personally. You can also buy loose leaf teas at an extremely reasonable price.

The atmosphere is simply comforting. Whether you want to sit at a table or on floor cusions with ground level tables in rooms separated slightly from the main area there's an area to relax at for everyone. It is very Mich reminiscent of a small shop in India and plays music very fitting to the setting. I see many people bring work computers in and sit for hours, so whether you're a student looking for a quiet place to study, or someone looking to do work in a very peaceful environment, or even someone just looking to hang out and chat with friends this place is for you!

There also is a very nice lady who does eye readings on (I believe) Friday, I have never personally had one but I see many people getting them.

TL;DR, visit this place if you are a tea lover, sit down and have some delicious vegetarian and vegan snacks (try the goji squares!) and enjoy the magnificent setting and be at peace with the...

My wife and I went here for our first time yesterday (Saturday Jan. 19th around 2:45pm) and will never go back. The reason we will never go back is because of the staff. The woman at the front counter and the "waitress" were extremely unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. We walked up to the counter and were waiting to be greeted by a happy tea expert. Instead the woman stared at us looking unhappy and bored. I had to say hello first and asked her for chai tea. This grumpy woman then mumbled on and on about how I had to be more specific and to just "figure it out myself" and that she "didnt know" and told us where menus were. She asked us if it was to be for there or to go. We told her we would be drinking tea there, to which she replied there were no seats left. So why did she even ask??? I had to ask the other woman worker for tea. She gave us dirty, annoyed look said she "was busy but would do it anyway". As we were waiting for tea the woman at front counter had crop top on on yet had huge belly and kept pulling her pants up to adjust them the entire time we waited for our tea. It was unappetizing, unprofessional and unappealing. Finally we got our tea. She said "goodbye". I then told her I still needed to pay! She literally snatched my card out of my hand. I thought about calling the police! She then held my card behind her back as if she were keeping my payment card from me. Then she handed it back with a fake smile. I am a highly paid professional and a business owner. Dobrà Tea has lost my business (and anyone I and my wife knows) forever. I would never hire staff as incompetent or rude as them. No customer service skills whatsoever. It was shameful human and business...
