OH... smother burrito.
I'd been getting chicken, but ordered online, as, ya know, work. Gotta get out and back.
WELL, there is cauliflower on there... then noticed mushroom.
NOW, smothered had worked in sooooo many ways for me. The delish inners, the sublime outers... but the mushrooms gave me one more way to so enjoy this dish.

Son gets the chorizo breakkie tacos, and has for as long as we've been going to BBLT. He'd started out w/ the guac, pico and hot sauce on the side... which allowed me to taste them apart from as part of a dish.
The pico is fresh, bright... but the hot sauce is unique. Creamy, in a way.
Happy to say, Son recently has been enjoying his breakkie tacos almost as they were envisioned by the creators; just minus the hot sauce.
Had the slaw yesterday; this is fantastic. No big surprise; cumin is the big difference, methinks. At u$5, a bit pricy for the quantity, but awesome for a treat now and again.
When we got back from SE Asia, as much as we enjoy Thai food, we held on to wait for Tuesday to keep the tradition. It was no little...
Read moreSweet Baby Jesus! Baby Loves Tacos is amazing! I never take the time to write reviews, but this was too good not too. A small hipster place with big world flavor.
I walked in with no idea what to order and told them that I’m not picky and I'll try whatever they suggest (3 for $10 Tacos). I forgot they had vegan options and they told me they were going to make me chorizo, brisket, and one of their Roaster Carrots with everything on them. I'm not Vegan but I did not want to be 'that guy' and say 'oh wait, I'm kind of picky' so I kept quiet and I am glad I did. The roaster carrots taco was as equally amazing as the other 2.
If you're not from Pitt like me, you def need to make sure you try this place while you're here. I'm probably going back tomorrow before I head home to try their other options, including the cauliflower taco. You also need to order their chips and guac.
Anyone who said that the food was bland or bad should go back to McDonalds. Don't pass...
Read moreThese tacos are amazing!!! Apparently the've only "soft" opened and their full opening is coming. Don't be discouraged when the sign outside says "Jim's wraps and salads".
I had one brisket and one bacon taco. Neither of these meats are traditional, but the taco style (double corn tortilla, cilantro, salsa, lime) was. I AM STILL THINKING ABOUT THE BACON TACO and my only regret was not ordering 2 of those along with the brisket. If you're hungry, I suggest you order 3 tacos. The tortillas were super delicious, and tasted fresher/softer than normal corn tortillas-- I'd love to know where they get them.
The owner is very kind and informative. He even told me to "pay what I want" and when I said $10 for two tacos (which I thought was reasonable) he only charged me $6 for the two.
I can't wait to come back and bring my...
