My food was absolutely perfect. All the way down to the slightly blistered onion in the pork fried rice. The general Tso’s chicken was spicy and crunchy and tender and sweet - like perfect perfect. The pork fried dumplings equally delicious. It’s some of the best Chinese take out I’ve had in Pittsburgh and I’m so surprised that I’ve never been here before. I will definitely be back. I was there last order this evening, which can sometimes at other restaurants lead to the food feeling like it was rushed.

Showed up for a takeout order at the same time as maybe 5 or 6 other customers, but kudos to the staff for getting all the food out in like 5-10 minutes. No nonsense back in that kitchen. Portions are good for the price, with the trays packed full and no skimping on the meat. Tso's had some good heat, a bit soggy after the drive home but not much anyone can do about that. The dinner plate is probably one of the best deals around.

My new go to Chinese take-out!! So far, been here twice, right before closing, and the food was excellent! The small size Singapore mei fun was a generous size and tasted delicious. Wonton soup wasn’t overly salty like some places make it. The General Tao was crispy and flavorful, but the pork fried rice was my favorite! I will definitely be returning and highly recommend especially with the prices, very reasonable.

EDIT: Had to come down a star because they've gone under new management and the food is fine but not as good as it was, sadly. This was my favorite spot for classic American Chinese food in Pittsburgh, but now it feels like just another Chinese restaurant. Decent, but not as good as what they had going before. Hopefully the new management learns the magic that made the previous ownership's food taste so good.

Previous:

No frills hole-in-the-wall Chinese spot. The food tastes good to me and is very reminiscent of the kind of Chinese food I grew up eating. Their vegetarian options are actually better than their meat, IMO. I tried the chicken last time and did not like it so I'll be sticking with the tofu. Service is friendly, fast, and efficient. Seems to be takeout only but the dine-in atmosphere is...

we ordered to go and everything was soooo good! Portions were awesome, they have small sizes and large sizes. My boyfriend got large lo mein, I got a small. He had extras and I was happy not to for once, was the perfect portion to me! We also got the cheese wontons and hot and sour soup. Everything was fresh and delicious. And they sent along the crispy fried noodles to dip in duck sauce on the side which I have missed sooo much! Was a very yummy meal, wonderfully priced. Will be ordering from here anytime I want that americanized Chinese food I grew up with but better! not too heavy in oils and...

The szechuan shrimp isnt like anything I've had before the shrimp are huge!, juicy, never overcooked and flavorful. And the sauce is a bit spicy but really thick and delicious. The general pso shirmp same thing. The frid rice is hmmm. Their food is delicious!I don't go anywhere else.

July 2025 post update. THEY'RE CLEARLY UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT W NEW COOKS BC THE FOOD ISNT AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE 😩. I get the same thing everytime szechuan shrimp steamed sauce on the side no water chestnuts and the sauce was watery, not spicy, forgot my white rice one time. Idk its just not the same bring back the...
