Beer Bros Greenfield — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I stopped in today to peruse the selection. They have a fairly good assortment that should appeal to a wide variety of customers: macrobrews, craft beers and ciders, various “hard” drinks (e.g. hard seltzers and lemonades), and a small selection of energy drinks. There are about 15 refrigerated cases and a walk-in refrigerated room; the rest of the beer is at room temperature. The selection is much heavier on domestic beers than imports (although they did have a Unibroue 6-pack assortment that I picked up). For the craft beers, they have a good mix, including local beers. One of the refrigerated cases contains loose cans for assembling mixed 4-can packs; I mentioned to them that I’d love to see more product available for assembling mixed 4-packs.They had (I believe) 8 different flavors of hard slushies.

I was asked twice if I were looking for anything in particular and what I thought of the selection, so they are clearly trying to feel out the market for this location and see what people want. All in all, I think they’re off to a good start; they will probably pull business from people in surrounding neighborhoods (e.g. Oakland) who are willing to make a short drive to obtain a better beer selection than what their own...

I stopped in for the first time a few days ago. I was in a hurry so asked for help finding the cases I was looking for. One of the owners, Kam, was super helpful. He not only showed me where everything was, he was kind, gave a great recommendation my friends loved, made friendly conversation, gave me a discount when he heard I was getting married the next day, and helped load my car. Beer Bros has such a wide variety of drinks to choose from. A ton of great craft beer from local breweries, your favorite domestics and even a wide variety of non-alcoholic brews, which I appreciate cuz I do my best to not drink on weekdays.
