I enjoyed my visit to James Cafe. Their nitro cold brew was incredibly refreshing and had subtle chocolate notes that added a delightful complexity. The tall glass it was served in was a nice touch.
I also tried the Autumn Salad with smoked salmon, and it was fresh and tasty, although I was disappointed that they were out of apples. The cafe's seating arrangement, with seven round ceramic tables and a high table with four chairs, created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Read moreWe were in the strip district Saturday afternoon, have tried all the existing coffee shops in that area. Wanted to try something new and with the google search this place popped up with a high rating.
James Cafe has great atmosphere, felt very warm and homey. They had Customers already seated enjoying drinks, snacks and the wifi. We were greeted straightaway and the server was patient as we reviewed the menu and placed our order.

We definitely will be back to enjoy the coffee and the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely serve top...
Read moreI live right by this place so I have visited the shop a handful of times purely out of convenience. They have messed up my order almost every time. Two or three times they’ve forgot to add sweetener, and this most recent time my beverage was luke warm. It’s baffling how they can be so consistent with giving me a bad experience. No offence to new staff but I would imagine this is a result of inexperienced or lazy baristas. This is totally understandable if it happens once in a while, but this is a consistent problem since the place opened. Not to mention this place is ridiculously overpriced. Do yourself a favour and go to coupe de ville down the street or if you have the time one of the places close by...
