My husband and I had just left the emergency room and we were starving. Stopped into waterworks McDonald's at 3:50 am. There were no other customers there when we arrived. The young man seemed to have difficulty getting our order straight. It wasn't a large or difficult order. 2 burgers and a large fry. Arrived at the window, no friendly face, no greeting, no smile. Just given the total and change. We sat and waited about 4 or so minutes. We ordered a double qp, no pickles and a large fry and a regular qp with no onions or ketchup. We saw several cars arrive after us, the manager put in money draws and make drinks and the young man becoming g irritated with every order. We finally got our order and went home 3 miles away. Upon arriving g it was clear our food was ice cold, the large fry was barely halfway filled and both qp had ketchup, onions and pickles, what we had asked not to have. Neither the manager nor the young man at the drive up made any effort to make sure we had what we asked for. We were very clear, we know he understood, he repeated the order back to us. There is no excuse for this at all. Food should be made to order when people have items that cannot be on their food, especially when your not bust at 4am. We will not be back. I work in the food industry myself and I will not bring business to a place where people take no pride in the food or...
Read moreThe food is consistent. It didn't appear to be freshly made. Right now there is only one other customer in the restaurant. I am struck by how dirty the place is...ketchup and dirty fingerprints all over the beverage area. Tables are dirty. Food is on the floor. Smears of something...hopefully only ketchup...on the drink station cabinets. Its a newer restaurant and today its in disgusting condition. January 2019. This locations downward trend continues. Forgot my dreadful experience until I got into the drive thru line. They don't understand the concept of fast food. I ask the reason for the long wait and the teen said the mgr. was coming. I get to the pickup window and an elderly man with light brown hair and glasses gives me the bag and gesticulates with his middle finger repeatedly for me to check the bag to make sure it was right. Not in a nice manner or tone. When I didn't react he did more of the using his middle finger and pointing at me to check the bag. Really Mr McDonalds Fox Chapel franchise owner? Is this McDonalds face to its customers? Would this person work better in janitorial or another business with less dealing...
Read moreLet me tell you how great of an idea it was to pass up the McDonald's near the turn pike on my way back to West Mifflin with my nephew. I figured the waterworks one was closer to home so we will stop there. Man was that the greatest decision in McDonald's history. These fries were perfect, it was as if baby Jesus himself graced this McDonald's for about 10 minutes and had his hands over the fryer. These fries were all centers, no crispy edges, no burnt ends, no surprise pieces of chicken breading. . ALL CENTERS BABY!! Perfectly fried, perfectly salted, aside from almost burning the roof of my mouth due to how fresh they were, they had to have been the best fries in history. My burger had a little too much ketchup, was like biting into a liquid tomato. . But nothing the fries couldn't help. I felt like my car had a halo from the golden arches above us as we drove home. Someone back there has a PHD in frydanomics. Keep up the good work whoever is working the fryer. Whoever is in charge of the ketchup squirty mechanism needs to move to the ice cream machine. But...
