Shake Shack The Terminal — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Went to the new store in Pittsburgh for lunch today 6-28-24. Line out the door, when it was our turn to get in employee came out from behind counter and very rudely told the group in front of us to straighten up the line and then he told us to get back out side. Since the line moved up we could not get back out completely. So he yelled to us to get out and close the door we were leaving in flys. When it was our turn we walked in and he very rudely asked me if I had a problem? So at this point I am going to answer him I told him that he should get the other 2 kiosk fixed and then maybe there would not be a line out the door. He told me that they work just not turned on. No one taking any orders from behind the counter either. Will not be going back there, so very rude and unprofessional treatment of customers. Doesn’t say much about the company if they allow employees with this kind of behavior treat their customers. No please or thank...

The service was atrocious. We ordered at the counter and they gave us a number so we sat down. After waiting no for a while, and seeing people that ordered significantly after us get their food my wife went up to check. From the side window she could see an order with our name on it just sitting there. When she mentioned it to the staff they didn’t say a word, just stared at her and handed her the order.

We tried it and it was cold, so I brought it back up. When I told them it was now cold from just sitting there, again two of the staff just stared at me without saying a word. Eventually he gave the ticket to the kitchen and I heard him ask them to remake it. I waited by the counter for it to be remade.

Eventually it was remade and ready again. They walked right past me and walked around holding the bag. Eventually my wife asked if that was ours.

It was busy, but just not acknowledging and staring blankly at customers is...

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews because our experience was pretty good. This was my second time having shake shack ever, and I had it long back in New York, so I didn’t even remember what it tasted like. At the end of the day, it is a fast food restaurant, so I guess you have to tame your expectations. Got the double burger with bacon, and it was amazing. The crinkle cut fries were standard and nothing special. The burger though was the highlight and the crispy edges made it even more better for me. I appreciate the fact that they have crayons and colouring papers for their patrons to do something while they wait for the food. As a lot of people mentioned, the prices are a tad bit higher and I ended up paying close to $18 with tips for the burger and the fries but then there is a element of service since they bring the food out...
