Starbucks — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

It’s a nice store. Seemingly a bit slower than other locations despite usually having plenty of workers. There is one thing that irks me about this location. At any Starbucks I’ve been to, it goes as follows:

• Submit your order on the app • Go to the store to mobile pick-up section • Tell them your name. If is not ready yet, you wait for your name to be called because they know you are there.

At this location, they don’t seem to call your name once it is ready. On multiple occasions I have waited for up to 10 minutes, even after the order is done. I walk over and the barista is waiting for people to walk up as though I had not just told them my name.

If it happened while super busy and only a few times, I wouldn’t bother mentioning it. It has happened probably 8 times, and I have noticed it happen to others as well.

Stopped in tonight about an hour before close. Typically, I’m just a plain black coffee drinker but recently I’ve been wanting to branch out and try something new. The only problem is the coffee menu might as well be foreign to me. Connor and another very friendly staff went above and beyond to educate me on all different types of beans and roasts. So thoughtful of them to take an extra minute out of their day and explain the coffee world to me. They made a suggestion on a coffee to try which I took them up on and it was wonderful. I will definitely be back and be sure to recommend all my friends in the Pittsburgh area to give this Starbucks a try. Again 10/10 Service...

Waited in line at the register as the only person in line for more than 5 minutes while two employees stood right next to the register doing nothing productive. Finally another employee who was in the middle of multiple tasks helped me. When she asked the other employee who ignored me very politely to do her job, that employee threw a temper tantrum to rival that of a 4 year old. Then I waited for 15 minutes to get my one coffee and no the place wasn’t packed and those two employees did nothing while the others did what seemed like a million tasks.
