Great Thai spot! Its next to another awesome Thai spot, Thai Gourmet, so I imagine people struggle choosing between the two since they are both so good. I ordered a pretty classic meal, the pad see ew with fried tofu, and their Thai spring rolls.

The pad see ew was very good. I heard the portions were small, but I didn't think so. They were pretty great, although prices were a little higher than at other places.

Flavor wise, it was great. Not too oily at all, although I would have liked a tad bit more sauce. I loved how they cooked the broccoli (I personally don't like barely cooked broccoli in pad see ew, and they cooked it thoroughly here). Great amount of vegetables. The tofu really soaked up the sauce and was tasty as well, although there wasn't that much of it.

The spring rolls were pretty decent too. Not the best I've had, and a bit expensive for just 2 pieces, but they do the job. They were somewhat oily and heavy on the glass noodles. Small container of sauce, but it was tasty.

All in all, a great Thai spot. I'd say I still slightly prefer Thai Gourmet, but this place is good too. Tasty pad see ew, decent portions, and okay...

I was really excited to try this place since they have great reviews, but my experience was very disappointing. I splurged and ordered Thai Cuisine as take out because I was stuck on my school's campus all day and I can usually split my order and make two meals out of it. The reason I gave two stars rather than one is because Thai Cuisine has their vegetarian options clearly marked and they are happy to make their meals vegan if asked.

I received my meal and was almost instantly disappointed. I got the mixed veggies with the soy chicken. There were only 4 or 5 pieces of protein in my entire dish. I have NEVER received a dish with so little protein in it. It was almost all vegetables, which would be okay, but I paid more than what it would cost for just veggies and tofu, and the entire dish tasted just okay. If someone had ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and only got 4 or 5 pieces of chicken, they likely would have called back and complained. I will not be ordering from Thai Cuisine again. I cannot even make a second meal out of my leftovers because there is zero protein left in it. A total...

I am a big fan of Thai Cuisine in Bloomfield. I just went for the first time since it was updated last week and boy has it changed for the better. The decor and space was a tad dingy and dated before. Now its clean and modern. Large decorative shades flow from the ceiling and tasteful artwork hangs on the walls. Even the flatware has been updated. It immediately felt cozier.

Now the big test: did the food get updated?

I rarely stray from the Chicken Pad Thai here so naturally it was an easy choice. It came out steaming. So hot in fact I couldnโ€™t even take an immediate bite and I have a metal mouth.

Iโ€™m happy to report after it cooled down that the dish had been prepared to match the new look and feel of Thai Cuisine. The sauce was tangy. The bean sprouts were crispy. And the chicken was sliced and cooked to perfection. The dish was drastically better than the last time I had Pad Thai here.

Now Thai Cuisine may not be my all-time favorite Thai food in Pittsburgh but this experience has most certainly put it back in the running.

Welcome back...

Grabbed dinner the other day and made sure to get enough for multiple meals so I wouldn't have to leave my place while the marathon closed all the roads. The Pad Thai was really good! Noodles had a firm, chewy texture and absorbed a lot of sauce. The fried tofu bulked it out since there weren't a ton of veggies, but the container was full to the brim, so overall great value. At spice level 3, didn't really get a lot of heat while I was eating it but there was a little afterburn, so I think I just need to bump it next time. The 3 Flavor Chicken was also tasty but not something I'd get again. The portion felt too small for the price and it wasn't different enough from my usual Chinese orders to convince me that I shouldn't have just done that to get more protein for less.

We are visiting Pittsburgh for the first time and staying in the neighborhood. The wine store( Spill, another good spot!) lady recommended us here, so we went to. My favorite Thai food Spicy Noodles was spot on! It could have been a bit more spicy for me but the flavor was so good. We ended up coming back here again as our last dinner in Pittsburgh! I ordered Thai Treasure Hot Pot this time and it was DELICIOUS! The owner( I assumed) said it was her grandmother's recipe and she grew up eating that dish. High recommended!! My father in law from Florida enjoyed the dishes so much. He said the food was the best Thai dishes he ever had :) service was great, everyone working there was so friendly too.
