Truly unique - cafe by day, speakeasy by night. Tucked behind a bookcase, you will find a dimly lit but lively bar area with creative cocktails. Their various cocktail menus (at least 5 alcoholic and 1 low ABV or zero proof) are posted in used books that are scattered in various seating locations, giving off a library vibe. There is a cocktail lounge on the second floor with couches, cushioned lounge chairs, and a fireplace. Very cozy area if you have a larger group or just want a more intimate setting. Order at the bar and a server will deliver upstairs. The cocktails are unique and very smooth - you hardly taste the alcohol. It’s a little pricey for a drink ($15-$18+) but with the addition of fresh herbs, garnishes, hard-to-find ingredients, and syrups/liquors that are made in-house, the quality is definitely worth it! This is a step (or two) above any cocktail you could make at home.

I embarrassed myself walking here but the bartenders were kind about it. I only wanted two but tried three because the menu had a great selection. My favorite was the Thai Me Up, their take on an espresso martini, but with the smoothness and fragrances of a Thai tea. My second favorite was the Passionate Affair (pictured), the infused gin was complex and this cocktail was wonderful. Will be back, thanks Jason and Kelsey!

Such a fun vibe, definitely has an upscale cocktail vibe in my opinion. Tasty drinks though and service is great.

This is my new favorite cocktail bar in Pittsburgh. Every single drink I’ve had here has been fantastic. I’ve been twice so far, I’ve tried six different drinks. Very impressed by their craftsmanship and experimental flavors. There’s not many places in this area that even attempt to do that.

I love the speakeasy vibe. Super cool entrance and fun comfortable lounge upstairs. It’s a fantastic place to go as an intimate group. But it’s kind of small to take a group of more than 4 friends.

Cocktails were made surprisingly quick even on a busy night. Everything is just really great about this place. Except for maybe the price lol but at least you’re getting what you pay for...

Annabelle (bartender) is amazing. She is the reason I stayed at the establishment during a time when I wanted to leave, despite celebrating a birthday for a family member. My guests complained about being met with rudeness when they arrived because another event was going on and they did not know how to enter the speakeasy. And the host told them - can’t you read the signs. Then we had 15 guest reserved, but were met with frustration because we had too many people in the upstairs areas, despite making reservations ahead of time. I do not plan to be back and neither do any of the guest...
