YINZ Coffee Friendship — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I ordered a maple cinnamon oat milk latte which was good as expected! They don’t really have any special drinks (only two that the staff confirmed are on the sweeter side).

I gave a lower rating on the environment as it’s not as nicely decorated or intricately designed as other cafes. It’s clean and nice and convenient with lots of outlets, but I would not say the furniture and interior decor is anywhere near cute.

The AC was really blowing and they couldn’t adjust it… Make sure you bring a jacket or sweatshirt (I had my jacket on but was still cold…)

The food and coffee is good, but the atmosphere is really terrible. During the summer they keep the inside so cold you'd need a jacket, which most of the other people usually have. The space has a strange echo giving it that oppressive quality where if you talk to whoever you came with you get the feeling everyone else can hear you. Usually they're playing something from like Spotify but a few times they've been playing commercial radio, and again the echo gives it an uninviting feel. I live nearby and used to come here quite often for the coffee, but I don't stay here hardly at all anymore because of how uncomfortable the interior is. First time visiting. Looks very nice and clean inside. Baked goods look amazing! The girl working wasn’t the friendliest. She asked what we wanted, we said we weren’t sure yet since it was our first time (no suggestions were given), ordered a cappuccino with vanilla- nothing special to it.
