SO this review is for WILLIAM, who was CLOCKED OUT and on his way out, at 7pm, it's a long story why I was there (hunting a delivery a new guy failed to deliver), but I ambushed him and called him over to the street. He asked me how he could help and stood there and listened to my story even though I looked crazy in pajamas. He was off work but he asked me for my info and went all the way back inside to hunt down my package for me. This is during the Xmas rush and he looked so exhausted when I first called him over, yet he came to help me anyway. William came back in about 1 minute and I got to sign for my package and he saved my life. He easily could have kept walking and ignored me as he was inside the gate seemingly walking to his car to go home or something. Or he could have said, I'm sorry I'm off the clock and walked away. I was outside the gate. William goes above and beyond and he needs a raise ASAP. Promote this man! Also the tall man with gray hair and beard who delivers our mail at home is always consistent and on time even in rain. I love him. I love them both. Also they allow late drop off and will deliver mail to my house twice a day sometimes. The kiosk machine always worked perfectly for me. The USPS is the FASTEST and CHEAPEST mail service. Also I was worried getting a passport on my own without knowing how to do all the forms and photo requirements right, I was worried my photo would be rejected since the application is all weird and intimidating. I ship a ton of stuff for 5 years. Best post office ever. They approved and delivered my passport super fact and easy. I walked in, they snapped a pic, I paid like $250 i think, and she expedited it for free I think and I got it in like 10 days. Its easy to ship things, you just do you research and follow directions on the website. The people reviewing complaining about the people not giving them lessons...all the info they're asking for it on the website if people weren't so lazy to read and look up how to do stuff!! Flat rate boxes are best to ship things. Show up with tissue paper if you need it. Go inside, grab a FREE box by the window (not the far wall those are not free) and see which one your object fits in. EASY. slap it together, wrap it in some tissue paper. Tape it up (bring your own or buy one of their rolls) write the address out (THE FREE LABELS ARE WITH THE BOXES BY THE WINDOWS, write it, tape it. Stand in line. Pay $5 for little one, $10 or something for medium and maybe like $16 or $20 for the large ones,....THE PRICES ARE DISPLAYED ON THE WALL. could not be easier. Thank you USPS and thank you to william....
Read moreBIG (0) for this USPS Office... They are by far I worst I have ever had to deal with !! The worst Customer Service with Attitude to follow. Our Carrier if very professional and does his job to the best of his ability. I have a business in Placentia at a BUSINESS complex. Our incoming mail is received at our PO BOX however, every day I do need a Outgoing Pick Up of my daily Mail. I discussed this with the Carrier to please stop in to Pick Up our Outgoing Mail ( he has No Problem with it). I also requested on MANY occasions through the actual USPS Placentia Office to PLEASE have a Carrier stop by our office for Pick Up. They said they would note our address and remind all the carriers to pick up at our address. That never happened. The Placentia USPS doesn't even answer their phones anymore. The Service is horrible!! I believe they are all very over paid and the union isn't doing their job to monitor this location or check on their workers. This location is a huge disgrace to the city and Postal Service. I saw a USPS manager last week in front of our office as I was chasing the carrier he was VERY unprofessional and rude. I explained my issues with our outgoing mail and he assured me they would be stopping to pick up my out going mail and sure enough he was driving behind the carrier today, just a week later and instructed the carrier to walk by without taking my mail. I 100% agree with the other reviews, the lack of English language is a real concern at the actual office. Not to mention NO people skills there at all either. I will be reporting this manager further as soon as I have confirmation on his name( He did not offer it when we spoke). But my advise is to stay clear of this pathetic office maybe they will close it down due to lack of customers. Postal Anex is across the street and there are so many other places you can go to mail out your items. This is not the place and does not fit the city at all. Placentia USPS is...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been using this post office for all my mailing needs, and I have to say — the service here is truly exceptional! Whether I’m sending packages, postcards, buying stamps, or requesting other postal services, they are always professional, efficient, and patient.
The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, always greeting customers with a smile. They’re very knowledgeable and often offer helpful tips to save time and money. For example, when I ship international packages, they’ll double-check the size and weight to see if there’s a more affordable shipping option, and they even recommend the most suitable packaging materials — incredibly thoughtful.
Even during busy hours, the lines move quickly. The team handles the crowd in an organized and respectful way, so you never feel rushed or ignored.
One thing that impressed me the most was how professionally they handle issues. Once, my package had a tracking delay. The clerk took the time to investigate, file a report, and reassured me that everything would be fine — and sure enough, the package arrived safely just a few days later.
The post office itself is clean and well-organized. Information is clearly posted, forms and pens are easy to find, and everything seems to be well-managed.
All in all, if you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly post office, I highly recommend this one! I always leave feeling confident and well taken care of — it’s truly an essential part of my...
