Denny's is usually a staple for friends, family and all in between. This one stands out however. I came to this location about 1 year ago accompanied with my fellow church members (FCCA), and knowing that they have been coming there for a long time is easy to see- as well as to why it's so packed on Sundays. Parking can be a hassel, but luckily the hotel next door allows you to use their lot. Walking to the restaurant isn't bad at all either, even with this small problem.
One of the reasons why it's packed is because in comparison to other Denny's I've been to, this location is fairly small. That doesn't mean while eating you'll feel cramped though. The atmosphere is very lively with the hustle and bustle of serving. All of the servers are very kind, and willing to help you with your order- a great deal of patience. Very clean reasturant as well.
When ordering you'll have a easy to read menu with great delectable options to choose from. Children will love the pancakes here, and there are plenty of good skillet options, as well as the $2,$4,$6,$8 items for breakfast. Coffee is brewed very well too. Personally, I haven't tried anything lunch or dinner related, but nonetheless the chefs in the back will whip up something that will satisfy your taste buds. All in all you'll leave satisfied, stomach full and no hole in your wallet. Recommend greatly.
If you read my review to the end, thank you and you're awesome.
Have a blessed and great...
Read moreI was super disappointed with the food here. I ordered country fried steak. The option is brown or country gravy. I chose brown. The dinner came with country gravy all over the meal with a side of brown gravy. I don't know anyone who likes both. I used to order this place years ago and was always remembered it being really good. Not this time. The breading on the country fried steak was soggy, not crispy at all. The inside was almost a mushy texture. I tried to give my dog some and he smelled it and wouldn't even try it. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The toppings for hamburger like the lettuce was slimy and brown, the red onion was also slimy. The bread was wet and mushy. The hamburger patty was okay. They also didn't put American cheese as requested. The onion rings were also wet and soggy. Too wet to even attempt to dip in ranch. I honestly took 2 bites of my dinner and could t eat anymore. I ordered 2 pancakes as well. I'm glad I did because it was the only edible item in the entire order. I really did like the country fried steak dinner 15 years ago but I can't say I will ever order it again. I don't have $50 plus to take that kind of risk. The staff was kind of rude at pick up as well. It could've been an off night. Possibly the food here is usually up to par. I'm...
Read moreMy husband and I were vacationing in southern CA and staying in the adjacent Best Western. The hotel recommended this restaurant and it was very close and convenient. The restaurant had a very nice look, and atmosphere and was very clean both inside and out. We were immediately greeted by Yuri who seated us and was our waitress. She was very friendly and provided us with great service!! Dina, the manager on duty was hands on and assisted Yuri with checking on us and other tables in the restaurant. Dina was right on spot when food came up and took it out immediately getting our order to us piping hot!! And speaking of the food, Miguel was the only cook in the cook station and still got the food up in a timely manner and looking and tasting perfect. Before we left, I spoke to Dina, telling her that we really enjoyed our dining experience, and a waiter that was just coming on duty thanked us for our comments and for taking the time to bring it to their attention. This experience got our vacation started on a great foot! We would highly recommend this...
