I grew up eating Jack in the Box, so it’s always been nostalgic for me. Lately, I’ve been coming to the Jack in the Box in Brea, and I’ve loved everything about it. However, I recently had a bad experience over the weekend that left me really unhappy with the customer service. Normally, I don’t file complaints, but this time, I did because I care about this location.
Lydia, the manager, reached out to me personally. She called to hear my side of the story and truly listened to my concerns. When she asked what I’d like to be done, I simply asked her to speak with the employee because I just wanted things to be right. Lydia was incredibly kind, apologetic, and generous—she even offered me a free meal, even though I didn’t ask for one.
When I came in today to redeem it, she recognized me and we had a great conversation through the window. She was so sweet, and it really showed how much she cares about customers. I was ordering food for my partner, and when he changed his mind about his drink, she even offered me a free one without hesitation.
Lydia’s customer service is truly above and beyond. She represents what every company should strive for in a manager. Jack in the Box is lucky to have her, and honestly, she deserves a big raise! Read moreThis place has the worse customer service I've seen by far. Their fountain machine was broken and so they were having to get drinks from the drive thru one. When my order was ready I asked the manager for a refill and she refused to get me one saying she was far too busy. She continued arguing with me and then just got one of her employees to refill it for me. In the time she spent arguing with me she could've simply refilled it. I was patient enough as it were for her to raise her voice to me like that. I asked for the corporate number and both her and her employee lied to me saying it was the number on the receipt. When I called I heard their phone ringing and the manager and her employees were laughing. To top it off the food I got was completely overcooked. the tacos seemed way stale. Read moreThis is the best Jack in the Box! I primarily go through the drive-thru. I always bother them to stir up their iced coffee before serving it to me because the sugar settles to the bottom. They happily ablidge. The food is always fresh, and they are happy to make substitutions. They make sure you verify that your order is correct on the screen before proceeding to pay. One time they gave me expired croutons and when I brought it back they profusely apologized and gave me something free. What's more, I feel like the manager actually cared.
