Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Placentia

Let me start out by saying this review is not a slam on the restaurant location or its manager or employees. The manager who has been running this location for years has always impressed me with how well he runs this restaurant. From cleanliness, to keeping the employed staff friendly and helpful at all times. No, this review is a slam on the corporation behind the food that is being served to its customers. Below is the letter that I sent to Wienerschnitzel.

Dear Wienerschnitzel: You have changed your Corn Dog product to something that I cannot eat. Sure if I liked chewing on rubber bands, maybe I'd enjoy the new recipe, but clearly, I'm not sure it can be called a chicken hot dog product anymore.

Just letting you know that I will never eat this product again. (Corn Dogs)

Here's an idea.... if you want people to frequent your restaurant, then serve actual food products!

I don't know what's in the corn dog now, but it's not a food product. It's a food experience and a bad one at that. I'm sure the bean counters are joyfully slapping each other on the back at how much money they saved by substituting cereal by products and fillers in place of the chicken that use to be in the corn dog. I didn't like it when you went from a beef hot dog in the corn dog to a chicken one, but now you've gone too far! Now your food is literally going to kill me.

Trust me when I say, that I will be alerting as many people as possible on social media about the disdain you have towards your customers.

If you need to raise prices to stay profitable, then raise your prices! But don't kill me so you can...

Love the food. Hate getting home with chili cheese dogs and a chili cheese burger and not a single napkin to be found. This isn't an isolated incident either. Its happened the last 3 times I've gone through the drive through. I miss the location off of Chapman.

Edit: gave the place another chance.... Two points of failure tonight. 12/5

Drive through employee: didn't put down I wanted pretzel buns on my chili dogs was too busy trying to upsell me on all beef and cheese.

Kitchen employee: didn't put onions as on the ticket on my chili cheese fries.

This location is absolutely garbage and their staff need retraining. I'm assuming this is why this location doesn't...

I guess we thought we were at DQ, because when we asked for a hot fudge sundae, we were told their hot fudge was cold but they would drizzle chocolate sauce on the ice cream. There was a (very) young man who waited on me and another one at the drive-through window, obviously no manager. But if the fudge is cold ... heat it up! Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that one out. The place looked unkempt, tired, and unattractive....
