CJ's Pizza is an awesome place. I wanted to tell people about what was done to me. The delivery company I work for sent me in to CJ's to place an order for a customer. CJ's does not want to pay the percentage to the affiliated company, and I can't blame them, but the company tries to force their hand by sending in delivery drivers to make orders and pay for things for customers. The problem with this, obviously other than the fact that CJ's doesn't want to be affiliated with them, is that the delivery company was not transparent with me about this and I show up to place a brand new order that would easily take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour for $8. Not including the gas or time or mileage on my car but they expected me to wait an hour for $8. $5 of that was probably tip. CJ's team was very nice and honest with me and explained to me some of the issue, and so I went back into my car and I dropped the call and the delivery company counted it against me. Something that was not transparent at all and was going to cost me time and energy, ended up being a strike against my delivery percentage completed. Don't use Doordash to make deliveries. Read moreFirst time orderer. Amazing is the first word that comes to mind. Best pizza I have had in a LONG while, quite possibly the best ever and the breadsticks were amazing and huge. We ordered there based on a recommendation from a friend. Very pleased. On a side note, we did online ordering and requested a 6PM delivery. I'm not sure how the young guy did it but he arrived at our house at 6:00PM...not 6:01, exactly 6PM...rare service...looking forward to ordering again from CJ's. Thanks for being awesome!
Update 6/7: Had a small snafu with delivery on 2nd order BUT CJ's management went WAY beyond what could be expected to make it right. We ordered a 3rd time last night and it was once again incredible. I am sold. CJs is now my go to...
Read moreWhen we moved to Plainfield, this as the first pizza place we ordered from and fell in love with. I try to support local, non chain businesses/restaurants as often as I can. They were great quality and even when busy, the food was great. Last few times we've been, they have been swamped. Which I'm not complaining, I love that for them. But, the quality of our food has went down. I'd rather wait a little longer than be served food that's not all the way done. We also had some aluminum foil stuck on our breadsticks. This does not stop me from going there, I think they just had a bad night and I'll be sure to tell them, I just hope next time it's better because they are one of our families favorite places. I'll update next time we...
