I just want to give a big thanks to the new manager at the dairy Queen in Plainfield. I believe her name is Kristin. I used to go there all the time, but I just kept getting poor service, and I would be waiting in drive thru over 20-30 minutes every time. Then to just get ice cream that was melted. The other day I decided to give it another shot. I'm so glad that I did. Because I got the best service I've ever had there.. I was greeted with a very pleasant woman she said she had just taken over the store as GM. she was trying to get things changed for the better. From the looks of it she's getting that done And I will say this I was in and out and under 10 minutes that's ordering getting my ice cream and even speaking with the lady for a few minutes. I didn't see any other worker so I don't know if she's working alone or not. if she is she's superwoman. I just I just wanted to say how much I appreciate her. Reading me with a smile and a very pleasant attitude. You don't know how much you can make somebody's day just by smiling and greeting them. Thank you you made my day! I will be back...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. Every time I have come to this Dairy Queen I wait in the drivethu for more than 20 minutes and when I finally get to the speaker they never have the pretzel sticks and queso. Literally the only thing I want is that. This has been multiple times a week for a couple months. Tonight I decided to call first to ask so I didn’t have to wait in line for nothing, no one answered I let the phone ring forever. So I just decided to try again and got in line. I sat in line for more than 30 minutes this time and I was blocked in by the curb and a whole line of cars. I finally got to order and guess what they don’t have the queso to go with the pretzels. I’m honestly sick of this. And when I drive by the manager was just wiping down the counter with nothing else going on. I don’t understand what is wrong with the management here but they need to answer the phone and help their crew. Danville ALWAYS has them I just don’t want to drive a 40...
Read moreRead more“Due to a shortage of employees we are forced to temporarily close the inside of our store.” Seriously? It’s June 14th and 86-degrees outside. It was like this two weeks ago when I walked from the Legacy Farms subdivision with my 2-year-old and you wouldn’t let us conduct a walk-up drive-thru order for “safety” reasons. Hire more employees. Pay higher wages. Money lost is greater than any overhead cost you would expense by closing the inside of the store. A drive-thru line out to 40 is ~15 vehicles. Your parking lot holds 16 cars, not to mention the street-side parking behind the store. It doesn’t require a finance degree to figure out that hiring two more kids to attend to the front counter is more cost effective than closing the inside of the store. You really think you can’t profit $25/hour through inside sales of...
