McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainfield

LOL they seriously have got to try at being this terrible. Over the years they have completely ignored my complaints until finally just recently after weeks of angry e-mails I actually got a refund! I couldn't believe it! Someone actually acknowledged me and tried to make it right, albeit it was the owner but hey it was a start. They sent me a refund and then gave me a card for a free meal. I go in and use the card for the free meal AND THEY GOT THE DAMN ORDER WRONG HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously though I used to work fast food I know these cards. The owner themselves signs the back of them so when you work fast food and you see one of these cards you know 1 of 2 things. Either the guy handing you the card knows the owner or the guy has talked directly to the owner. Either way the guy with this card has an open and direct line of communication with the owner. When we saw these cards we would walk back to the grill and explain the order to whoever was running the grill like they were 5 because we knew if we jacked up that order the owner would not be pleased. They clearly didn't even care. The burger was pink in the middle and it was wrong. Oh well it was free so I'm not mad but laughing hysterically at the sheer apathy of this place. I understand hating your job in fast food I get it, but usually you at least work hard enough to keep your job or at least keep the dang owner happy. Oh well everyone send your thoughts and prayers out to this new owner he just recently acquired this place and he's really got his work cut out for him. I seriously need to take a moment and just share my experience I had at this McDonald's. My sister and I both work retail and we were just talking about how we hate people and how they can be so stupid at times. We then we pull up to the pick up window for food. Josh Beach, one of the managers at this McDonald's was seriously one of the nicest, sweetest, most amazing, happy, upbeat (especially for 10:45 pm), funniest, cool, people in the history of McDonald's employees. This guy, even though we couldn't have been in that spot for more than two minutes was seriously a godsend. We were just so overwhelmed by the amount of stupid that we see at work each day, it was almost as if God was like "Hey, watch this," and threw this amazing guy at us. His energy, even though it was fifteen minutes before close on a Friday night and there were at least four cars behind us, totally enveloped and cascaded through our car. I honestly think McDonald's needs to take him away from us and promote him. More businesses need people like him in upper management. Most people think of the employees at McDonald's as lazy and young miscreants that couldn't find anywhere better to work, but I would bet money that Josh is not only inspiring his employees but helping them see what they can do with their lives. And just for those people that think this is a biased review, I've never met Josh before but I do think that there is a certain lack of people like Josh in the world. So Josh, if you see this, just know my sister and I thank you for showing us some good on a night where we were both disgusted...

So I ordered a big breakfast platter with hotcakes extra sausage, extra eggs and an extra biscuit. I also ordered an extra hash brown and four sausage biscuits. I pick it up I'm missing at the least the extra sausage extra hash browns and one sausage McMuffin. That's all one thing, I call to let them know they shorted me because I'm a single mom going to school, my money, like everyone else's I'm sure is very needed. So the manager that answered the phone is SUPER nice and takes down my information and offers to replace it, I said I would do it another day. Within one literal minute another woman calls me from McDonald's and says I'm the one that made your big breakfast with hotcakes and I couldn't even put the lid on so you mean to tell me you didn't receive extra eggs sausage or biscuit?! Y'all I was APPALLED!!! I could not BELIEVE this was happening. I said I am most definitely telling you I did not receive extra sausage, if you say this is extra eggs fine, but I'm still not only missing the extra sausage but extra hash brown, and one sausage McMuffin!
