Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Plainfield

This location has really taken a dive in recent months. The last few visits they have consistently gotten our orders wrong. Order extra cheese, get regular cheese, order peperoni, and get a huge bald spot with no cheese or peperoni, and on our last visit, we ordered an extra cheese pan pizza and got regular cheese and NO sauce. Fed up with their terrible pizza, we attempted to return the 6.5 pieces of 8 we did not eat and the "manager" Jay told us very rudely that there was nothing that could be done. While she disappeared in back another customer received a pizza that was supposed to have extra extra cheese that was made wrong and had to be remade. Eventually, we were told someone from "corporate" would be reaching out to us, but we have not heard from anyone. As loyal customers we probably spend approximately $75 to $100 dollars at this location per month and to be treated this rudely (the "manager" Jay threatening to call the police) when I stopped to copy the store's address down is beyond the pale. There needs to be a staffing change and a recommitment to customer service and some very thorough staff training. In the meantime, avoid this location like...

I don't even know where to begin. This was my very first time ordering from this location, and it will absolutely 100% be my last. I ordered for delivery which estimated 50-65 minutes delivery. No problem. However when minute 70 elapsed, I tried calling the store just to check on status. The phone rang and rang until it was picked up and hung up. I called again with a similar result. So, I drove to the location to inquire about the status of my order. After waiting in line for another 15 minutes behind other unhappy customers (this was now at minute 95 of estimated 65 minute delivery), I was told that my order is still being made. I then cancelled my order and bought dinner elsewhere. And as I'm standing there waiting in line, I'm observing disgusting food preparation and handling conditions. The food warmer was full, so there were boxes of cooked orders stacked up all around the counters, the food warmer had a broken door and had an error messages warning that it was malfunctioning... Front of house employees were completely disheveled and filthy. The level of disorganization observed was astounding, but I somehow think this is...

We have ordered many times from this location and every time have had the same driver deliver our food. The drivers name is Fidel. First off, most delivery drivers are in a hurry and have no concern for the customer and their order. There main concern is getting the money and getting back on the road to make the next stop. Every time Fidel makes us feel like he is there for us and wants us to be perfectly satisfied with our purchase. He is polite, attentive and always makes us feel like he is there to make us happy. We order from pizza hut and specifically ask for him because we know he is always looking out for the customer. He is the main reason for us choosing this location. Fidel has GREAT work ethic and always goes the extra mile to make us feel satisfied with our purchase. Fidel is a perfect example of how restaurant staff should be and deserves recognition for his amazing service and dedication to his job.
