Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Plainfield

My soul was rejuvenated walking into this Noodles and Company. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a staff of 20 some gracious men and women, ready to willingly tend to my every need. A friendly smile awaited me as I went to order my food. Payton (the cashier) told me to let her know if I needed ANYTHING else. I said no, thank you very much! Then I walked over to the Coca-Cola freestyle and grabbed myself a cup of lemonade. By the time I got to my table, Melissa (a server) was ready to greet me. She had already brought out my friend’s food. A curt minute later, she came out with the most culinarily enriching plate of Pad Thai I had ever seen in my life. A splendid feast for the eyes and the stomach. As my friend and I enjoyed our food, we were checked on by at least 3 other servers who grabbed us silverware and took away dirty plates without even asking, and continued to ask us if we needed anything else. I, myself chose to time how long it took after my meal for them to take my plate. It took a whopping 3.5 seconds before a server kindly asked to take my dirty dishes. I know a one star is very low but I feel like it is deserved. I waited and watched multiple other orders being made in front of me when I was the only one waiting in the store. I saw workers texting while my food was sitting in front of them. They almost forgot my soup. I paid $18.82 and my Mac had like 4 different noodles with green leafs in it. I’m disappointed I paid so much money for this experience and now I am reasonably upset.

Update: I found plastic in my Mac and almost choked.

I was contacted by the GM by following the link. I was told they were busy and that’s why the plastic piece happened. They did admit it’s not okay and things happen. I was offered a free entree next time I come in. Was denied a refund for my order because I did not say anything to them directly until today, although I left my review as soon as I got home yesterday. What can one say when after being the first time at that particular location and after a couple of years of not eating at Noodles & Co. the employee taking the orders (around 4:20pm on labor day), decides to give us a rude attitude not even willing to answer questions about newer menu options. The wait was also unacceptable 17-20 minutes for a couple of dishes. When my husband, my baby & myself walked in, we were the only ones at the location; after waiting for order for about 5 min. more customers start walking in & getting orders before we did. Very disappointed & definitely not going back here; moreover, our pad thai was unfortunately tasting a bit too sweet & noodles were more hard than they used to be.
