Smoothie King — Restaurant in Plainfield

I love Smoothie King don’t get me wrong but the Plainfield IL location seem a bit slow with knowing about the Smoothie King app. The girls at this location is not helpful at all. I wish the smoothie king app stop putting my deliver at this location. Shorewood is better. I received a email several times about free delivery and input my zip code and it goes to that location. I still got charged a delivery fee when the email says $0 delivery fee. Then when I call to ask why did I get charged the fee if it says $0 delivery fee they tell me I have to call door dash but I ordered through the smoothie king app and not door dash. The number provided for the order was that smoothie king store location. Then the lady on the phone go on to say they don’t deliver at that store and I would have to call door dash and I tell her I did It through the Smoothie King app not door dash. She say she doesn’t see a delivery fee on her end. Well if you’re ordering through the smoothie king app and they are advertising $0 delivery fee and door dash is their delivery service why advertise $0 delivery fee if you are still going to be charge by door dash. She says I can pick it up but the point of getting it delivered is so that I don’t pick it up. I Can’t pick it up that’s why I click delivery. But if it’s not $0 delivery then Smoothie King shouldn’t advertise it. And the App should say deliver through door dash so everyone would know. And Smoothie King locations should be able to explain to the customer when using the App door dash is their service that deliver. It doesn’t show anywhere on the app. So how can you call door dash when you ordered through the actual smoothie king app....

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months now and they are extremely inconsistent and overpriced. This is now the 2nd day I’ve ordered in a row that they have been out of bananas, strawberries and multiple other fruits. How does a smoothie store stay open if they don’t have the ingredients to make just about every smoothie on the menu? When they do have the normal ingredients, I’ve noticed that it really depends on who makes your smoothie. Each person seems to make it differently because the flavor and consistency is always changing and I order the same thing each time. When you’re spending over $10 for a small smoothie, the least you can ask for is to know what you’re going to get. There have been a few times where the smoothie was extremely sour as well which signifies to me, something wasn’t fresh. 3 stars at best because 5 out 10 times the smoothie is good and the other half of the time, it tastes off or they are out of ingredients. If you order from here, 50% chance you’re going to get what you wanted....

Horrible experience yesterday. Have been coming for a few years with minimal issues but yesterday was abysmal. Ordered online at 10:24 to be ready by 10:39. Got there and it was crowded. One employee and about 12 people waiting for orders. I waited until 10:50 (order hadnt been started yet) and left to go pick up my daughter. Got back at 11:04 and store had 4 people in it and my order still hadnt been started yet. I asked the employee about my order and she said whats the name i told her my name and she said oh i will get it started. I asked why it wasnt started before snd she said sorry it got busy. I then asked if there was an owner or manager I could talk to and she said no. I said there is no owner or manager?? She said not that she was aware of. Wow. Obviously a lie. This level of service is so bad i will go to any other place. They had my guaranteed business but now...
