Taste of China — Restaurant in Plainfield

This restaurant was the worst place our family has ever ordered from before. We ordered a lot of food over $60 worth for the whole family. Drove 30 minutes to get there because they didn't offer delivery to our location. Got our food home and ended up throwing it all away because it was that bad. Ordered orange chicken that was soggy and orange shrimp that was so rubbery you couldn't bite into it. The noodles were very dry and the rice was bad. Only an hour after we ate the food we are all feeling sick and I also found bugs in the food. Called and talked to the owner he would not do anything for us. Very terrible experience! Had been my “go to” place for Chinese. Not sure if it’s an off night or the place has changed. Anyway, I’ll try another option next time. Estimated delivery in 45 minutes arrived in 75, all cold. Now I’m heating egg rolls in the oven trying to bring them back to life. They never updated the online order. No notifications like usual, just wait for them to show up. I went to the website to complain privately, but their “contact us” option is to call them, you know, the crew that just gave me horrible service. An email that the boss can read would be nice. Terrible experience. They asked for the incorect food back. Digusting. Three separate times we have asked for our specific things in our order and they said "sure", and then got it wrong. When we called, they attempted to fix the order and deliver it to our house, but when their delivery guy arrived, he then asked for the incorrect food back?! What are you going to do food that has already been bought by a customer? Is this how you do business, ask for half-eaten food back so you can sell it to other customers?
