Quiznos — Restaurant in Plainfield

This is a family-owned and operated business, so when people are leaving reviews about the piss poor attitude of the lady working here, you should just know it's her that's leaving these comments about how they take this and that seriously and that they are disappointed that they didn't live up to standards or whatever. That is the same exact person that just gave you all that grief when you're in the store, going online and acting like they are some Outsider from corporate or something, that has nothing to do with the store and then you think that perhaps things are going to change. No. It's just like when little Jimmy punched you in the face at school and you tell your parents about it, and then Jimmy's parents bring him over to apologize to you and he gives you an apology that you know was absolutely forced, and you're going to get punched again the next day. That's what it's like going to this place. They used to be much happier people back in 2020 when I lived by there, and was going there for years. I'm now back in the area, and all it took was one time a couple weeks ago, and that was it for me. Absolutely done. Something happened to these people because they didn't used to be like this. As for them not being open during the hours they say they're going to be open? Yeah, they've been doing that for years. They are not very disciplined people. Very lazy. But they are accountable to no one but themselves which is why they get away with this type of thing. They own it and operate it. And nobody else is going to open another Quiznos because there's no money to be made. The Christmas distribution is a horrendous mess. And it's very costly. These people probably have been running a deficit for years and it's why they are so nasty and rude and terrible. Just terrible people. And to the "owner" who may try and respond to this with some empty platitude, something patronizing..... don't even try. I'm outing you to be the very same person that I ordered from and got all that grief from. And if you want to deceive people by coming in here and acting like you're going to do something about turning this restaurant around, it's a lie. Everyone needs to stay away...

Quiznos has always been one of my favorites and I used to work in Plainfield so I would eat at this location about once a week. I was addicted to the Chicken Carbonara and would often get the Regular size unless I was extra hungry, then I would get the Large. I had not been there for awhile but I had left work early so I stopped to get lunch to take home. I found they no longer offer a Large sandwich so I ordered the largest size Chicken Carbonara they offered. I also ordered extra Alfredo sauce and a bowl of chili. The staff was friendly but the food was horrible. They charged $0.50 for a side of alfredo sauce, which I thought was a bit extreme for the small container but that was only one of my disappointment. The sandwich had an odd flavor, a flavor which I did not find tasteful or appealing but rather terrible and appalling. The chili too tasted as though it was not fresh but instead was a few days old. By the evening, my stomach was rumbling and I did not feel well. I am sorry to say that I can no longer recommend this location and likewise, I will no longer be visiting this Quiznos location. If I could give this place no stars I would! Walking in the lady who may be the owner or running it was asking us what we wanted. We said that we are still looking. Not even 5 minutes later she asked us again. Like she was trying to rush like there was a line full of people out the door (it was only 2 of us). My friend was ordering a sub for our other friend which was a custom sub & the lady told us that we had an order what’s on the menu. I worked at a different Quiznos years ago & we never told customers that they couldn’t get they own custom order only order what was on the menu. Then when my friend ordered her sub she wanted to change the cheese but the lady said no. She asked me what did I want trying to rush me again & I told her once again that I wasn’t ready. When I told her my order (which was a chipotle steak & cheddar) I told her could she add mushrooms she did that but once I wanted to add other veggies she said this is it. She was very choosy on what she wants to add. We drove 20 minutes to get the food to only get this rude attitude & customer service. My first time coming there to eat but this will...
