Usually I love this Starbucks. The staff is great, always friendly and professional. I work nearby and visit often so the unusual hours and being Closed on Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays lately is disappointing but, given the widespread staff shortages these days, is totally understandable.
I stopped by this morning for my usual latte and decided to get a blueberry muffin. Normally I skip the food so it’s probably been a year maybe two since I’ve had one of their muffins. Is it just me or are the muffins significantly smaller than they used to be? I could have bought 4 muffins twice this size from the grocery store for the price I paid.
Also, I didn’t notice when my coffee was handed to me but when I got to my destination, my cup felt lighter than usual. I hadn’t drank any yet so I opened it to check. The top was filled with foam, normal for a latte but usually only 1/2 - 1”. This one was probably 2”, definitely about the top 1/4 of the cup. I’m sorry, but if I’m going to pay $5 for a coffee, I want a full cup of coffee. As I said, I visit this location often and this is the first time I’ve had this issue so hopefully it’s an aberration. I’m sure if I had noticed right away and said something, the staff would have happily topped off my cup. I once ordered a hot drink and they accidentally made it iced. They not only remade my drink but gave me both drinks rather than dump...
Read moreOn October 3, 2023 we ordered a Grande Cafe Mocha and a Venti Expesso Frappuccino via the drive through. Service was quick and friendly. Drinks were horrible. Mocha had no sweetener of any kind and the Frappuccino was almost all ice with incorrect flavor. I returned to store and talked to Gentleman at the counter who carefully observed drinks as he poured them out. He said he would have them remade. The young lady who was making the drinks was furious and repeatedly told the gentleman there was nothing wrong with the drinks. The remainder of the young ladies working that day all piled on and it sounded like a bunch of angry bees. First drink was remade and angerly slammed down on the counter top. Same with second drink. No apology, no acknowledgement of my presence. I took my drinks and left. The 2nd set of drinks were just as bad. We ended up throwing them away. We get the same 2 drinks at numerous other Starbuck locations with no problems. This isn't the first time we have had problems at this location but it will be the last. Read moreI really want to like this store but it could be the fact that I go there literally every day on my way to work but I would say three out of five times there's an issue. I'm not sure if it's new or if it's just the pandemic and "no one wants to work" for the longest time I would do the mobile app order and usually they would get it wrong most of the time it was an easy fix so not a big deal today I went to go in and I do my mobile order and it says unavailable and that I had to do it in person. I went inside to do it in person and asked the baristo why did it say that it was unable to do the order. The answer I got was our locals are turned off I asked again what that actually meant because that wasn't an answer he basically repeated himself I'm not sure maybe they were just busy I don't really understand but I wasn't able to place my order ahead of time so that kind of threw the convenience out just grab and go.
