Ten Drops Coffee — Restaurant in Plainfield

One of my new favorite coffee shops. I came across it while heading back home through Plainfield earlier this month. It’s located inside of a warehouse space that houses a couple of different businesses including the Ten Drops roastery but the shop itself is a big space all its own and they have done a nice job giving it a good vibe.

I ordered an iced version of one of their signature drinks, the Spice latte and it was one of the best tasting coffee drinks I’ve had in the area. It had great tasting espresso with a perfect balance of milk and flavoring. The barista was very friendly and the fact that she had the place quietly jamming to Aerodynamic when I walked in was a big plus.

I took a seat while waiting for my drink and was kind of bummed I couldn’t stick around to take a load off and enjoy it while the sun poured in from all of the big windows but it was okay because I just looked more forward to...

Eight years ago, I entered this coffee shop and immediately fell in love with not only the diverse range of high-quality coffee they serve but the culture and community they have built and fostered. The staff is friendly and loves to connect with its customer base. Tatum was the one who took my order, and she did so with a smile on her face and kind words, which made me feel welcome. Initially, I came here for a good cup of coffee, but i kept coming back because of the warm and homey environment. Don't even get me started on the decorations and artwork that hands around the shop! Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area if you're looking for tasty coffee and genuine people. 11/10 every time.

PS. i am writing this in-store and noticed the staff cleaning efficiently and quickly after customers leave. I have never seen the lobby in any other state...

First of all, I am not a coffee drinker. I have had five cups of coffee ever. But four of them were at Ten Drops, and the first I liked! My SO is very into coffee and convinced me, thanks to this place. The last one I got was the French Toast Latte, and it was fantastic.

Their coffee is really good. But their customer service is even better. They are what barristas are supposed to be and super helpful. They also toast their own coffee as well and it is always new and fresh. It is a great place.

During COVID, they are practicing very safe practices, have to order over the phone and they walk it to your car. You can sit outside and drink it there or around the corner at Werkforce.

The owners are present often, as it is a small time operation. Very friendly!
