01/2021- New owners. New menu. Our group had the chicken salad, 2 orders of the Melter Skelter and the Tennessee Pizza. App was the Firecracker Cauliflower. Chicken salad was excellent. Tho the chicken was forgotten and brought out later she said it was very good. Pizza was excellent. Pickles dont seem right on a pizza but I figured give it a shot. If you've ever had real BBQ sandwiches, it comes with pickles. Def try it. The Melter Skelter was loved by both people that ordered it. A very good combination. Like grilled cheese or Macaroni? This is a great combo plus it has bacon. Can't lose. The Firecracker Cauliflower wasn't that good. Seems like there are trying to do like Craft'd. Craft'd wins this battle. It seemed very syrupy, sugary, not spicy. I did want a jack and coke, thankfully the Waiter clarified only Pepsi. Greatly appreciated. So passed on that. Service has greatly improved. Our waiter was spot on with drinks, food was quick. My one main complaint, still hasn't changed, the music is so damn loud. I get evening, bar party time. But even during lunch time? Added a star because the service was better, food remained just as good. Mainly for the better service.

2020* Food is actually pretty good. Chicken nachos on point. Burger was excellent. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes ....so it seemed. Fries good. Drinks always well mixed and good. Now the bad. Service is inconsistent. Slow and absent, best I can describe. Here's where it gets awful. The music is so loud and over bearing. Good music doesn't need to be so loud you can't converse with those at the same table. Yet live music here is just that. You'll find the 50 plus crowd and the just turned mid 20s. Both of which seem to be compensating or learning something. It's not a terrible place to go. And given there isnt much else within a drunks drive home..... it'll...

Came in for food and drinks, there was a wait for a table so friends and I went up to the bar to order drinks while we waited. 1 friend ordered a tequila and lemonade, other 2 friends ordered vodka lemonade. Bartender set down the drinks at the bar- all were pink lemonade in the same glass- no garnish and no way to tell which is which- and then pointed to 2 different drinks saying that was the one with tequila, bartender got flustered and said “I uh- I’m not sure which one is which” and just walked away, we tried to waive her down to see if she could remmeber which was which but she ignored us- our table was ready at that point so we left the drinks there and walked away as we didn’t want to drink& pay for something we didn’t order. Then after we placed new drink order with our server (not the same order we put in before- didn’t wanna confuse the bartender again) Then the manager came over with the drinks we left at the bar expecting us to take them, “saying these are the drinks you left and this is the tequila” pointing to a glass that all of a sudden had a lime on it that wasn’t there before- we politely explained why we didn’t take them, because the bartender couldn’t tell us which drink is which- manager was dismissive and kept expecting us to take the drinks, we told him we didn’t want them or to pay from them when we didn’t know wha tee were drinking and the manager flippantly walked away and went up to the bartender, we could hear her yelling to him that she refused to serve us. Our server was great- poor guy got caught in the middle and came back to tell us they wouldn’t serve us alcohol only food. We thanked him and left. Other than our server everyone was pretty rude and flippant-...

Service was horrible. Came in with a party of 15 people and asked waitress if we can hold 2 tables. Waitress said no reservations but the table next to ours had a sign saying reserved. When asked about that she said the other table called an hour prior. We explained that we’ve made several calls days prior. She got upset and went in the back to cry. The young manager came out and said we upset his waitress and that we would have no waitress and everyone will have to go to the bar to order food and drinks.

What a horrible way to manage the situation. Lack of leadership.

We only asked the waitress if we could put the two empty tables together and when she said that they can not reserve we only asked them why does that other table in the area say reserved. Everyone in the party had to go to the bar to order drinks and food causing the two bartenders to be overloaded. I personally gave the two bartenders extra money due to the situation and thanked them for their patience.

Very disappointed on how the manager had handled...

This is quite the place. With live music, great food, and amazing service i always love coming here. Uptown has a young / chill vibe and has live music on the weekends that is always good. I’ve been there a handful of times but haven’t written a review till now. I went on Friday during the final 4 games and it was packed. lots of TVs to watch from and drinks were flowing. Servers are always great there and are very attentive . We ordered the boom boom cali flower for an appetizer. One of my absolute favorite starters, really really tasty and doesn’t even taste like you’re eating cauliflower. Pretty good helping size but could be a tiny bit more. For my main meal I always go with the sliders. With a generous portion of 4 they fill you up after about 2. But that’s not even the best part. With the Caramelized onions and toasty bun, this will not disappoint you. Overall great restaurant and food and even better with the live band and TVs . Will come back here all the time since it’s local to me

My wife and I stopped in at this fine little establishment in downtown Plainfield, Illinois for lunch on Wednesday. I have eaten here many times in the past but never did a food and restaurant review so I figured no time like the present! Started off our lunch with some cold drinks They did not disappoint. After a few rounds we ordered our lunch. We ordered the parmesan garlic 10 piece chicken wings with a side order of celery, blue cheese and ranch and a side order of tater tots All of the food was very hot and very good and presented very well! I highly recommend both entrees! Some of the best wings and tater tots around this area hands down! Hats off to this fine very clean little establishment! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top notch & five stars across the board! We will definitely be back. If you haven't checked this place out yet, they have weekly specials and music on the weekends head on down to Uptown Tap! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
