Five Guys — Restaurant in Plainsboro Township

Solid Five Guys location. Food is exactly what you'd expect from a Five Guys, greasy customized goodness, entirely too many french fries and milkshakes with more calories than some Thanksgiving meals. This location is a bit smaller than the average Five Guys location, so during busy lunch rushes it can be challenging to find a seat from time to time. This location does a few outside tables available, but on the typical summer day that I was there yesterday, the concrete patio reflecting the sun's heat made it entirely too uncomfortable to consider eating out there, even with the umbrellas blocking direct exposure. Probably very nice during dinner time, though. The good news is that the staff here is pretty good, especially those working in the dining area, and when a table does clear out, it still generally manages to get a good wipe-down before the next group settles in. Previously gave this place 5 starts but I am going to have to drop it to 3 stars now and that's me being generous. This place is usually great but I had a bad experience. I ordered food for pick up. Got there early was told they were still making the food. Waited around. 3 other customers their food (people that just placed their order in person) meanwhile the food I ordered online was not ready. I asked what the problem was or how much longer it would take and the employees just look at each other, look around and find my food was already done. Just sitting there waiting for pick up.

Great five guys and wonderful customer service. I didn’t get his name but the man at the register was very kind and friendly. He even gave my son a small milkshake for being polite to him which was so nice. Little things like that make such a difference and really lock in your choices to continue giving a place your business. We just moved to the area and tried another five guys the opposite way from this location and it was probably the worst five guys I’ve ever had. The food was terrible compared to this location and many others I’ve been to. Will never give the Quakerbridge Road five guys my service after such great service and food from this location… on to...
