806 PIZZA HOUSE — Restaurant in Plainview

Do not recommend. Wanted some spaghetti while driving through, and this place popped up with better reviews. Called, placed the order, was told 10 minutes. Says $7.60 online, says $8.30 on the printout menu in the store, but then $10 on the big one above the register? I said “says 7.60 online and $8.30 right there…” the male employee said “that’s with tax and everything”. There shouldn’t be an “everything”, but whatever bro. Then there’s a 40 cent service fee on the card processor. So So what should’ve been $8.22, then should’ve been $8.98, was $10, then actually $10.40? I probably wouldn’t have been as caught up, except this is the saddest batch of spaghetti I’ve ever had. I legit spent less than $2.50 at Walmart last week and got better results. Boxed pasta, and canned sauce. The “meat sauce” has some over processed looking sausage, for what little bit is in there. The bread was cold and the grease levels would insinuate they weren’t baked recently, if even today. Was so excited for a treat on our last leg of the drive, but now I’m just irritated nowhere will be open in Amarillo by the time we arrive, so I could get somewhat decent spaghetti. With “bread and cheese included”, and them “running it through the oven”, I assumed it would have had some mozzarella or something, not the tiny cup of parm on the side that was also likely...

I tried this place based solely on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I have been here about 4 times in the last couple months. I actually spoke with the owner the last time I was there. He is a very nice man and all of the employees are friendly. Like many reviews state this place is extremely clean. I've never seen the kitchen but I bet you can eat off the floor. The food is amazing!!! This is truly hand crafted pizza from a mom and pop style old school place. I drive from Lubbock to eat here and it's worth every mile. I've never eaten the lunch buffet but it looked amazing!!! Great lunch idea. You can have any style pizza with any combination of sauces and toppings. The food comes out fast!!! Their number one goal was making sure we had a good meal and you can't beat the food, prices, service or cleanliness of this place. Give them a try.... It's worth the drive no matter the distance!!! And they have beer!!!!! What goes better with a slice than an Ice cold...

We dont travel to Plainview much but when it happens, Ernesto (my fiance) and I gotta stop and order a lrg pizza. This time our pizza was served in a box and was cold. Not Happy. We sat and ate it, none the less then eventually, I addressed the issue to a lovely young lady and assumed I was going to walk away with our cold pizza just sitting at the table. Instead....we got a hot delicious awesome pizza (the kind with watery melted cheese going off the server to the plate) plus they were kind enough to included a couple of awesome cheesecakes for the trouble. This Place Is The Best! I normally tell everyone, who wants a good slice of an italian pie, to head here because of the quality but now, i think I've got the perfect story that includes service, too.
