Mitch's Texas Style BBQ — Restaurant in Plainview

I'm seeing complaints about portion sizes and stale chips. Where the heck are y'all actually eating, because it not here

I got the stockpile which has brisket, chips, beans and cheese. My brisket was moist and had a great flavor, and the portion was large as you'll see in the photo.

To address the "stale chips" complaint, THEYRE KETTLE STYLE CHIPS. Those are always a bit on the tough side. It's the whole point of them.

The service was great. My food was prepped and ready to go just as I finished looking around and grabbing a few items.

My only complaint is that the restaurant and store use separate register systems. If you buy food from Mitch's and want to buy some chips and a drink you have to ring those separate at the next register. It's only a minor convenience, so I'm not taking a star...

Rating a 1 because watch what you buy. They over charge you. $7 for a scoop of Mac n cheese whenever you upgrade from small to medium. Small comes with the meal. I refused the medium at checkout so they took it out of my bag and off the bill but I never got my drink or side. Said it didn't come with it when it clearly stated that it does.
