Chinese BBQ 老江湖 — Restaurant in Plano

Everything here is extremely overspiced. A little moderation would go a long way for the food here. Instead of someone taking your order, there is a qr code to order from your table digitally. The waiters I've had so far don't speak English - I asked for ketchup for my Chicken nuggets and the older Asian lady didn't know what "ketchup" meant. She offered me several different condiments, including a spicy powder before finally bringing me a spicy sauce which paired well enough with the nuggets (good luck if you wanted something to cut the spice lol, like everything else on the menu the Chicken nuggets were covered in seasoning). Also important to note, a lot of the items on the menu are EXTREMELY WEIRD: Chicken Gizzard, Pork Intestines, Chicken Hearts, Squid Tentacles, etc. In all honesty though, at the end of the day it's the same story with these weird items as all the other items on the menu: overcooked meat coated in way too much spice. I'll still keep coming back though because this is the only non-fast food place open until midnight and I get sick of always eating burgers after work, and for that, I give this place...

New management killed this restaurant. Food quality is down, service is nearly non existent, menu got decimated, truly there is no reason to come to this establishment anymore. I visited during peak lunch hours on a Saturday and I was informed that they could not serve any eggplants because the kitchen staff was still in the process of thawing out the eggplant. The lamb skewers I ordered took nearly an hour to arrive and when they did they were subpar at best, the meat was dry and there was no seasoning even though I had ordered them as spicy. We didn’t expect to order chicken sandwich here. Large portion size and tastes good. Only down side, the bun fall apart half way through. I ate with mayonnaise on my hand. Regardless, I enjoyed the drink which comes with it.

I think they are trying very hard to establish themselves to meet different customers with the mixed menu of BBQ food, chicken sandwich and noodles offerings.

My rating as 5 is satisfy

Taste 4/5 Temperature 5/5 Attentive 4/5 food ordered from QR code. Cleanliness 3/5 a couple of dirty tables when arrived.
