I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. The order was placed online at 11:04 PM. Per the Domino's Tracker, the driver, Joshua, left the store at 11:21 PM. My apartment complex is gated so I left instructions to call upon arrival for me to come down. To make it easier on Joshua, I walked down at approximately the time the delivery was to arrive and waited. While waiting, a Domino's delivery did come. I asked the driver what the order was, thinking that it was mine and he rudely responded, "I have no idea what's in here", referring to the pizza bag. He said he was trying to call the customer and asked if my name was Ashley. I said no and he said that he was going back to the store. At 11:55 PM I called the manager and was advised that they would be contacting the driver. Joshua called me and said that that was him that I had spoken to and that the order he had was truly mine. He said the pizza had to be remade which would take 4 minutes and 7 minutes for delivery. This was at 12:12 AM. I told him that if he did not arrive by 12:30 AM, to cancel my order. So I was still waiting downstairs, outside, in the 85-90 degree weather. At 12:32 AM I called the store again and Joshua answered the phone. I immediately stated I needed to speak to the manager and was placed on hold for 4 minutes. I hung up and called back. The manager, Beau, answered and I asked where my food was. The manager stated that he had no idea what I was talking about and that Joshua had told him that I had cancelled the order all together, which was obviously a lie. After explaining to the manager the actual conversation with Joshua, the manager apologized and stated that he would credit my account for 2 large pizzas and a dessert that would not expire. Iāve been ordering the same thing from Dominoes since 2012 when they introduced their new hand made pan pizzas and what I normally order is a handmade pan pizza with extra cheese. The one extra thing I add to my order is for them to drizzle a little of that garlic butter herb sauce on my pizza. Itās the sauce they put on the crust of the normal pizzas since 2010 or so. For the past seven years or so Iāve been ordering my pizza this way with no issue....until Anthony. To be clear, Anthony was NOT rude to me, he was calm and polite. The problem was that he would not add the garlic herb sauce to my pizza. He told me it wasnāt something he could charge me for and since it didnāt come on the pan pizzas normally, he couldnāt add it to my pizza. Normally, especially with something as small as adding a bit of sauce to a customers pizza, customer service usually dictates that you take care of the guest UNLESS itās something completely unreasonable, which this was not. The order was placed around 8:00pm. It's raining, so I wasn't in a rush. I called to speak with someone to see if my order was going to be cold I asked how he was doing and he ignored the question so I repeated and asked how was he doing again and he told me not good. As I inquired about my order he told me I might want to go ahead and cancel because it wasn't going to be hot due to the lack of drivers. So I asked well are you the GM? he said yes he will be in tomorrow doing interviews. So I asked can I get your regional managers number, because it seems because of you being short staffed its causing you to be rude. I didn't scream, raise my voice or anything.
