Ordered cake for our daughter and they spoiled it and changed all the colors and was arguing either take the cake or else will make a new one but next day (seriously, do they really understand why one order specific cakes with specific dates and time?) . Never ever order cakes form here. They completely changed the colors and some portion of design. Very disappointed and they forced me to pay the full amount and I had to as birthday planned. It was a theme party with colors and they totally ruined it.
I should have considered other comments seriously and avoided ordering it here. But next time def NO. Horrible service and they don't take it seriously, that's why I guess forcing customers to pay in advance so they can screw the happiness of the customers.

It's false statement/reply owner posted, Now I have posted photos as well since the owner is lieing (what we ordered vs what we got), I have receipt from the store where it has the cake number and specs mentioned as well (I can post it if needed and owner tries to make any false statement)
first of all it's not about even the credit, we ordered cake with purple color but they made with pink color and started arguing that it's purple color and on the top whip cream border decor was supposed to be in yellow and they put white and when I asked they said they will use whatever is available, which is non-sense. And also design changes (missing flower, crazy whipping cream border which was melting and falling).
I feel bad about the kids at the counter where they had to deal with these issues and when I wanted to speak to manager on phone he was not interested and finally he was willing to but talks non-sense was offering one of these options 1) $10 refund 2) leave the cake and full refund (they knew we cannot as we have party in 30min) 3) offered to remake but they said need time either next day or evening as every cake made at their Irving location. Do they really understand why one order the cake for specific day, specific time with specific design and colors? I was frustrated and paid FULL PAYMENT and left because of the party time and now he posted saying he offered $15 discount as a good will gesture, I hope they know what it means.
And finally owner replied saying "as a gesture of good will..." I was laughing when I was reading that, forget about that, they don't even know how to treat the customers because of their fault, they keep arguing saying it's purple color not pink, and they use whatever is available then I lost my patience.
Anyways, they spoiled it and will never ever order any cake from these guys in future and I would caution others as well. Very frustrating experience and they dint treat me as a customer well when I questioned...

By default, they charge 20% tip on online orders. So beware. I don't mind paying tip but adding it by default is bad business practice. I didn't even notice it until later when I was trying to cancel my order (read below).
15 mins after placing the order online, I got a call from Hot Breads that dosa can not be made as the ingredients were over. I checked with my family and asked if we can substitute dosa with something else. My dad didn't want anything else so I requested to just give me Kathi roll. They said that they will not return me that cost of dosa as I paid online and that payment is through a third party. I tried to reason with that they will eventually get full payment for the order so they can give me cash or a gift card for dosa amount. They refused bluntly saying that it can not be done and suggested that I call that online third party payment provider to get my return. I requested to talk to manager, he was even more rude and cut the phone when I said that this is not fair to customer.
Anyways, I tried what they suggested. First I tried cancelling order online. There is no way to cancel it. This is when I realized that they add 20% tip by default. I tried calling Pringle API (the third party payment provider). Waited for 30 mins, no one answers even thought they kept saying that every call is important to them. I sent an email also, no response yet.
Hot Breads should not accept orders that they can not fulfill. If they do accept and are not able to fulfill then they should be courteous enough to return customer money for part of the order that was not fulfilled. Why should customer has to suffer because they could not fulfill the order that they accepted online with 20% by default tip.
I will never go to this place again. Don't want to waste any more hard...

I first tried ordering an eggless cake from this Plano location. The worker who picked up asked me to call back in 10 minutes to place the order, which was odd to me but I said okay. After 10 minutes, I called back again and they kept ignoring my call. I called a total of 11 times throughout the evening, and my call was ignored. So then, my husband tried to order from Hot Breads Irving today - farther from the Plano location but we really wanted to get an eggless cake from here. When my husband called, the man who picked up asked him to call back in 10 minutes. He called after 10 minutes, and the worker then told him to call after 5 minutes. So my husband waited another 5 minutes. The third time, no one picked up his call. He kept calling throughout the day, and eventually someone pick up the call but hung up on him immediately - it looks like they were trying to avoid him. After work, I called them from my phone, and a guy picked up. He then told me that I cannot place an order for an eggless cake over the phone (which is a lie because I have had cakes from here twice already) and that I have to come in person, order a cake in person and wait 1 hour in the store to pick up the cake. All I wanted was to get a cake for my mom on Mother’s Day!!
It’s ridiculous that they treat their customers this way!! All we asked for was a 2lbs eggless cake, if they cannot do that they should just tell us so we don’t waste our time calling them.
