I typically come to this donut shop once or so a month, and the service ok. The Older Lady who typically service me is friendly enough and displays ok customer service. However, today the Older Gentlemen who is typically in the back was ringing up customers and actually had a line for the first time ever. When I entered a Older African American women was being checked out and she had some questions on her order that the older man quickly dismissed and ringed her up. I wasnt privy to the prior conversation so I dismissed it, since it was none of my business. The Yong Lady in front of me gave her order, the guy made small talk with her, she paid, then left. Now its my turn, I asked for 2 large kolache's and 2 small kolache's, he got them, then warmed them up in the microwave. I tried to make small talk and ask about his wife, he asked if I wanted spicy or reg kolache's . I was like ok..when he ran my card I asked I can use credit, he said put in your number, I then restated that I wanted to use credit, he did reiterated for me to put in my number. By time another customer came in and was waiting, so now I felt rushed so just excepted this guy's rude insisting that I put in my pin number. Then after the transaction I asked for my receipt. He said, that I didnt need a receipt. WHAT?? I said, Yes I do need one, he then said no I didnt! (BREAK: Look, I'm not trying to be the "Angry Black Women" but come on!! How come I didnt receive the same customer service as the young WHITE lady infront of me. I was pleasant, I didnt ask for anything that I shouldnt, plus and most importantly I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER!!! Why couldnt I use CREDIT??? How come I was told NO when I asked for a receipt??? What is the Deal??) So instead of making a scene I just left with my kolache's passed the young black guy who was the customer after me, we exchanged looks and left, to NEVER return. I'm tired of fighting this war and if the only thing I could do is write this review and NEVER visit this place again, thats what I will...

When I give him the money it look like he was mad like he was annoying by me paying with coins but he didn't say anything so I keep it to myself I take my kolaches and went outside and eat it in the parking lot by the way the kolaches we're good but I still have the image of this guy being mad at me for paying coins. but then again I thought to myself it's just my imagination so I decided that I want one more Karachi and went back to get one more just this time I only have coins to pay for it a bunch of quarters dimes and pennies so I walk into to the store in ask this guy how much just one of the big collages cost, he reply to me on a very annoying mood "The Kolache cost $2.99 plus taxes", he also stated that it was very rude and annoying the customer paid with coins that he don't like to be paid with coins, he asked me why I was buying kolaches if I don't have any bills or a credit card to pay for it. at this point I couldn't believe that this guy was telling me all this kind of stuff and believe it or not up to that moment I was still thinking that this was all some sort of joke. So I asked him if he was mad for real He then scream at me to get out of his store, that he don't like my kind of client. Up to this moment I couldn't do anything but just smile and tell him that he need to fix his attitude that if he don't like to work with customers he should be doing something else for living. Please do yourself a favor an avoid this Place is specially if you are short on cash and only have coins to pay for...
Read more(Originally Uploaded on 4/19/19) I recently saw a fight at this specific donut store here in Plano. (Click to read full story)
Hereâs the real story:
So me and my friends just arrived at the donut place because usually we try tons of different donut places around the area. This one, we forgot our wallets so we left and got the wallets. Then as we walked back in, this guy was like, âWHATS YOUR NAME SIR YOU JUST ASSAULTED ME!â When we left, they started coming outside and fighting đ
THE DONUTS ARE OVERPRICED!!! I MEAN IT!!! ALMOST 2 DOLLARS FOR A FLIPPING DONUT!!!
So then we went to âA one donutâ (Southeast corner of Park & Coit) down the street and they have a lot better service! As we were coming back the same direction to this place, we saw the guy who was filming on the phone with the police đ
I thought the owner was going to start throwing donuts đ
FUNNY STORY! BUT IF YOU WANNA AVOID FIGHTS, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!
No wonder why this place is called Donut Bar! Because the owner drank TOO MUCH BEER đ
(Update) 6/15/19:
Went back to Donut Bar and the guy wasnât as bad as last month. Donuts tasted...
