Recently, my husband and I visited this restaurant and we had the worst experience going. The overall energy of the place felt weird, almost as if we should have just left, however we wanted to try something new so we stayed. The restaurant was not busy so we thought the customer service would be amazing, but we were wrong. The waitress, even though it was only her second day, was very pushy and seemed aggravated to have to serve us. The food was very greasy and when asked for simple necasserites, such as extra water and napkins it was met with eye rolling and staring. We decided to just sit and talk for a while but constantly stared at and rushed the whole time, which only made us stay longer. Finally after the waitress had asked us 4 times about the bill and we told her we will pay when we were done, the manager came over and asked us the same question and then asked about the visit and had the audacity to ask about a rating. I informed him that I would rank him a 2.5 out of the 5 and that is only because the drinks were good and the restaurant was well clean. I informed him of the quality of the food and he stated, “yeah I know! I noticed that when I had my meal earlier but thought it was due to the meat.” I expressed how I did not feel valued and felt rushed to leave.
He replied, Oh sorry, then said I'll go get yall some to go boxes. I believe that was the worst customer service in dealing with a manager and the staff that I have experienced in a while. We will never go back again I believe that was the worst customer service in dealing with a manager and the staff that I have experienced in a while. We will never go back again and I left reviews of the horrible service on all of their social media platforms. I understand that if we felt that energy walking in, we should have left, however since the 60’s a person should be able to eat wherever they like and be treated with kindness and respect as it is their consumers who are keeping the whole business afloat.
When in the food and hospitality industry you have to make your customers feel valued and want them to spread a positive message about the company. Creating bad environments will decrease sales and place a bad reputation on the company name which will only hinder the business in...
Read moreThe only reason they're getting 1 star is because no stars is not an option. This was by far the worst dining experience I have EVER had. Our server (Alex) was extremely rude and inattentive. Upon entering the restaurant she scoffed and said "Ugh, just sit wherever" so we did. Once seated it was 5 minutes before she greeted us and asked for our drink and appetizer orders. My wife had been craving fried pickles, which is why we came here in the first place, so that's what we ordered. We were highly disappointed by how burnt they came out. We then ordered 2 burgers and a large order of cheese fries with jalapenos bacon and chives. While waiting for our meal to arrive my wife had to refill my tea due to our server being nowhere to be found. Once our burgers and fries came, I noticed, our fries had only cheese on them. I then told Alex that we had ordered them with all the fixins. In which she replied "Ugh, hold on.) Grabbed the plate and walked off. She returned with our correct order, but by now the fries were inedible. We weren't asked if I needed mayo or mustard for our burgers before she stormed off again. So, I waited for another server to appear and asked if I could please have some mayo for my burger. He said "no problem sir, hold on" By this time Alex had finally rounded the corner and this young man handed her our mayo to which she replied "WOW REALLY!!" She delivered the mayo then and asked "What else do you want?) By this time my wife was livid and could no longer enjoy her burnt pickles and dried up cheese fries. At least our burgers were good. We decided we were done and asked for our check and a box. When the check was delivered my wife took the check to see what our servers name was and place the money for payment under the edge of the cheese frie plate. As I sat down in my car, the manager (Justin) came to my car and asked if there was a reason I hadn't paid for my food. This is were I began to lose my temper. I exclaimed that the money was on the table and that I shouldn't of had to pay for any of the horrible food or the horrendous service. At this time, or server (Alex) decided it would be necessary to come outside, stand in front of my vehicle and snap a picture of my license plate. Needless to say I will NEVER return to...

This location in West Plano has great service, too. Both Ash and Mizu are great servers. Disregard my 2023 review and get you to Snuffer’s and enjoy some rings.
OLD REVIEW — We have been loyal customers of Snuffer's for 40 years, dating back to the original on Greenville Ave. We've always been able to count on Snuffer's for a good, tasty basic hamburger and sides. Until now. I'm done with Snuffer's. My wife and I ate at the West Plano location the evening of October 24. Two turkey burgers, an order of onion rings, and drinks. The burgers were fine. But the onion rings were godawful, just horrible! Snuffer's used to have big, thick, lightly coated rings, but these were like deep fried Funyuns. Same quality as Ore-Ida out of a vat of grease. Skinny little rings with hardly any onion, swimming in grease. Just disgusting. When our server came to settle up, we mentioned how bad the onion rings were. She told us that since they went to a new menu and changed the rings, they'd gotten a lot of complaints about the rings. She suggested I contact corporate to voice my complaint. And, to add insult to injury, the rings are listed on the menu at $4.50. The charge on the receipt was $5.25. A small difference was deceptive. I wrote to Snuffer's corporate the following morning. They say to give them 2-4 business days to respond. 4 days later, no response. So, I wrote again. 4 days later, still no response. So, I researched and found their parent company -- Local Favorite Restaurants -- and wrote to them. Almost a week later, no response. 40 years of good food and hospitality earns you some goodwill. But the complete absence of customer service just burned through that. Snuffer's, their management, and their corporate ownership just don't seem to care about their customers. There are plenty of great burgers in Dallas -- Sky Rocket Burger, Scotty P's, Chips, and dozens of others. To hell with Snuffer's. I'm...
