Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Plant City

Service was very slow and behind the counter the staff looked to be very unorganized. The preparation area is much too small for the volume of customers they are trying to get serviced.

After ordering we were asked to pull off to the side, the chicken was being cooked and it would be about 10 minutes. At about 10 minutes one Young lady came out and told us that they did not have enough regular chicken ready but if we would accept some spicy chicken she could fill our order now. Otherwise it was going to be another 10 minutes. We accepted her offer for the spicy chicken, even though none of us like the spicy chicken. When we got home we found that our 3 orders of 10 pieces of chicken for $10.00 only had 8 pieces of chicken in each of the boxes. The next day I called to talk with the manager but the employee told me the manager was not there. I left a message asking to be called back. After a couple days I called again and got the same answers.

I never got a call back after a week, I am very disappointed so I will take my business somewhere else next time I want chicken.

The general manager is NOT friendly to say the least. I ordered Spicy 16 piece deal. I also paid extra for biscuits and upgraded premium sides. When arrived home I realized that the chicken was mild, the sides were not correct and the biscuits were missing from the order. I called the store and requested replacements of the missing biscuits. I was met with an angry attitude and was told that my biscuits would be fulfilled, but the chicken and sides would not be replaced. I only live 2 miles from the store and offered to bring the food back to be replaced. The manager said she wouldn't since I already left the store with the food. The response was laced with anger and harsh sarcasm. I definitely would suggest everyone either check your food immediately before leaving the store ie... bite into the chicken to verify spicy or mild or just go the the Kentucky Fried Chicken store 3 blocks south of the Church's and be treated politely and receive the food you paid for the first time. Even better go 1 mile south of the Church's to Popeyes and get better chicken, prices and service. Either way we won't be returning to the Church's...

I had a awful experience at churches in plant city Florida my service from jump start was very poor it took me 25 minutes to get my food and when I got it it was Cold so I had to go to a doctor's appointment once my appointment was done I went back up to churches to return the food just wanted My money back the same employee was still there and when I told me I wasn't getting my money back I was like really and she told me she don't remember me now mind you I had just left there and she was the one that served me so I asked for the corporate number and her and a little short Red Head Man told me that they don't have a corporate number and I told them every Big company has a corporate number but they refused to so I kindly put the food on the counter and I told both of them this is not the last time I Will be getting a corporate number when I return to Lakeland Florida and I did I talked to a very nice young lady in corporate and as I was explaining my experience she was just listening but the problem was solved after I explained to her I got a check in the mail from corporate thanks churches corporate for...
