My complaint isn’t with the food (even though you’d think as a business owner you’d want to keep a consistent menu and not change it in the middle of the day), but how you run your management. The way your staff is treated is HORRIBLE and I’m surprised no one’s gone to the news yet and you’re lucky they haven’t. I know a lot of stuff, and aside from you trying to sell SPOILED MILK to your customers and your employees had to stop you from doing so… why do you work TWO people in a shift for one of the most popular coffee shops in our town? I know multiple employees who talk about how EXHAUSTING it is, and the concept doesn’t make sense? Two people… for a register in front, a register to cater to people outside, and they still have to make sandwiches and drinks with lines out the door. I’ve witnessed multiple customers say “you guys need more people” and aside from you guys turning a blind eye to that… the manager, (mainly the female one) will constantly bend the rules to cater to one specific customer which, not only 1 makes a inconsistent experience for when they visit, but 2 the employee who is following the rules YOU told them, is left looking dumb because you wanna cater to a customer rather then sticking to the rules you told the employee to stick by… it’s so unprofessional and again makes your employees look wrong for just doing their job. I feel HORRIBLE for the staff working there and there’s A LOT more I know that I haven’t said. I really hope you guys realize what you’re doing wrong. I respect that you’ve built something from the ground up but you still need to look after your employees and that’s something me and many other...
Read moreKrazy Kup was a Krazy Kool place! This has to be one of the best coffee shops Plant City has to offer, and with its prime location in downtown it’s a great spot to hang out, or grab a cuppa to walk around and shop/ tour the area.
There is parking as well as an entrance in both the backside of the building and front. There is lots of signage so it’s not too confusing. And even though it’s downtown, the parking lots are both separated from the main roads so it makes for a much lower stress parking situation.
Being called “krazy” is definitely a good description for this place. It’s super eclectic and rustic in a fun way and I recommend walking around inside if you can. They also have a really neat courtyard on the side of the building that has a walk up ordering window which was closed when I went but could be nice if you wanted to stay outside.
I tried some sort of berry-flavored cold brew and was really impressed. It can be hard to work with fruity flavors but they had just the right amount where it was smooth and creamy still and it was the perfect drink to amp me up a little for the road trip I was headed on.
Also grabbed a buffalo chicken wrap and really enjoyed that! It was simple but well made so they do have some cold meals & snacks that are a good option if you need sustenance along with a coffee or tea. It wasn’t busy when I stopped in here during the week but I’d imagine it gets busy on the weekends. There’s lots of seating though and I think it’d be a good place to set up shop to do work or homework or...
Read moreI haves loved Krazy Kup for years and would go often prior to the pandemic, their customer service has always been unbeatable and their coffee is better than major coffee chains like Starbucks.
Recently I went to krazy kup just to pick some coffee up and leave, as I am following social distancing guidelines because we are still in the middle of a pandemic and I am not comfortable staying in public places for very long unless outside. I walked in and was SHOCKED at the amount of people NOT WEARING MASKS even the staff were not wearing CDC approved masks let alone anything at all! Mind you, these customers and staff weren’t eating anything so I didn’t see a reason to not wear a mask. The seating was also still the same as pre-pandemic and there was no way to stay six feet apart from people nor was it enforced.
I was incredibly angry and disappointed that krazy kup is not being more cautious because COVID is still going on even if people are sick of it. Granted I didn’t stay long nor did I voice any of these concerns but I expected...
