Let me just say this has been our go to pizza place since we moved to plant city.

They have 40% gone down hill.

Multiple times weve ordered and have had problems with the accuracy. I took a picture of tonight's pie: pepperoni.

I can't see justifying a price increase for such small and dull pepperoni. There is literally two pieces of pepperoni on the slice. It's sadder than homeless puppies. It's like they just said "screw it" and picked the pepperoni up from Publix.

(Before the owner chimes in: please look at pictures and reviews before this. The pepperoni is the size of a nickel in the photo I posted.)

Before there used to be a good amount of cheese on the pizza. Now you pretty much have to order extra cheese to even get an appropriate amount. If the sauce is literally breaking through the cheese, you have stingy cooks, or a resturaunt cutting back on costs to make more money.

Really sad with the way this place has been going over the last two years. If we weren't hungry, we would have asked for a refund.

Edit: After speaking with the owner, they made us a new pizza, and honestly it came out great, and every time we've ordered, it's come out great again. I've changed the review to five stars. Not many places would be willing to not only admit they were wrong, but also correct the mistakes that were made.

Glad to have some good pizza in...

I have been eating at Nick’s for years. I have had many incidents in which I have waited for ridiculous amounts of time for wings and knots or where my order has been wrong. I have put up with their slow service and small errors because I absolutely loved their house mild wings. The last time I ordered delivery from them my order was wrong but I let it slide. Tonight After calling them about three times I finally got through and placed an order. My husband went to pick up the food and had to request sauces after being reassured it was in the bag. When he got home we realized that our order was wrong and the sauces that he had to request were wrong as well. All they would say was sorry when he went back to the restaurant, The 2nd time he got home with the food it was covered and tied up in a bag (as usual). I opened up the box to find a bug sitting right on top of my salad. I go back to the store with my husband this time and the first thing the waitress says is “what did they mess up this time?” When I informed her of what was going on and requested my money back she proceeds to the back. Everyone acts nonchalant. The Manager doesn’t even come out front to speak to me. Considering that this was a $40 meal he could have addressed me. Needless to say I am dissapointed and...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nicks, and it was an outstanding experience! The onion rings were very well done hand breaded and the siracha aioli dipping sauce is a perfect mix if you like a little spice. The Calzone was absolutely fantastic, the breading was incredible, i can’t get over how delicious it was, i got a large, thinking it wouldn’t be very big, as i do eat quite a lot, but the small would have sufficed for one, the large was very good sized potentially serving up to 4 ,depending of course. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends. I highly recommend Nicks Pizzaria and Wings, to anyone looking for amazing Calzones – I can't wait to go back! My only downside and I feel the need to at least mention it, was the fact that my calzone was slightly undercooked, but it’s an understandable mistake based on how large the serving is. Just make sure yours is hot! I’m very positive the staff would be happy to fix it if it wasn’t done perfectly, I ate mine however...

I normally order random pizzas, but it was my first time there so I wanted to start with the basics which normally will set the foundation of trying it again. I ordered a 2 cheese pizza combo which came with a drink. I think it came up to about $7 which is a pretty good price. All in all it wasn't bad. The crust was somehow soft and crispy and was somewhat seasoned. The basic cheese red had a decent flavor. I also did a side quest and ordered a cheesesteak and unfortunately it did not deliver. It didn't have much seasoning and had little meat. I can honestly make a better one at home. I will go back and try things and update if needed

Have been coming to Nicks the last 2 years now. Every time I have gone the pizza has been perfectly cooked, priced right at $20 for a large two topping pizza. They also have great lunch specials, under $10. Their game day combos pack a punch, Bronx Sampler, 10’ cheese pizza, 5 wings, & Philly Cheese Steak all for just $25 Cash. Now that football season has just begun make sure you give Nicks a try, check out their specials below. Stay Joyous! #joyoushelpinghands
