I don’t order take out to have to come home to cook the food more because it was not prepared as requested. And I don’t make specific requests when I place my “to go” order to sadly receive quite the opposite of what I requested. I called and placed an order for 10 piece wing special today. I asked for hot with Caribbean jerk and well done. I specifically asked if they can ensure a good mix of drums and flats because I have placed order before and I got mostly all drums. I understand I can pay extra for all flats but I don’t mind a mix of the 2. Well when I received the order the wings appeared well done but there were 8 drums and 2 flats. Exactly what I requested not to happen. The young lady who took my order over the phone also handed me my order. So I said to her, I specifically asked for a good mix of drums and flats. And she said, they are unable to do that however she did not say that when I placed the order. And by the way, this is never a problem when I dine in. I said to the young lady, I am not accepting the order as is. The young lady spoke to someone and they decided to redo my order with a better mix. While I waited, the young lady who took my order said something to another waitress and that waitress said to her she (being me) should have paid for all flats. So I called her over to explain and she said she wasn’t talking to me but obviously she was talking loud enough for me to hear her. That was extremely rude. I received my order looked to ensure a good mix of flats and drums which it was but unfortunately when I got home the wings were not well done at all. I’m home right now waiting for my wings to cook more well done in the oven. I should have gone with my 1st instinct which was to cancel the order and ask for my $ back once I heard the waitresses talking about the situation inappropriately. I literally just start coming back here last week because management had made a decision a while back to stop tossing the wings and I prefer tossed wings. Now that the a decision had been made to start back tossing the wings, I decided to come back and try. But today’s experience didn’t sit well...

Horrible experience . We've been going to Landlubbers for several years, especially during these trying times to keep the neighborhood restaurants afloat. Called in an order for pick up with my husband. I didn't have a mask since we weren't going inside and asked the person bringing out the food to bring it to the driver side, which the young lady did since my husband had a mask on . However, there was an issue with the order so we needed to send it back. A man brought out the food the second time and we waived him around to the driver side to be courteous since I didn't have a mask on. It turned out to be the owner who said "you want me to go into the street?". He said it so sarcastically as he was walking around. It's the way you say things. Instead he could have said, instead of going around in the street, please open the back window or turn the car around. No, instead he was as nasty and condescending as he could possibly have been, and so angry! An owner treating customers this way - we were - and are - still in shock. We ended up having a very uncomfortable back and forth, him on the outside of our car, and us still in the car. He didn't keep he was shouting at his own customers while customers eating outside and going in and out of the restaurant was listening. Needless to say, luckily Plantation is full of wonderful restaurants with kind people and good food. I don't know how this restaurant has survived all these years with this owner, and the food has gone downhill lately. We decided to come here based on reviews. We also realized that this was a bar and grill. With that being said, we were not at all disappointed. Upon walking in, we were greeted promptly and friendly. The staff was prompt and courteous and we were checked on pretty regular. The food. I ordered the hottest wings they offered. They were on the larger side that most places offer. They were completely cooked and came to the table hot. Had to wait for them to cool before eating. The only complaints were that they could have been hotter(but I am one that likes the extreme, so it’s a common issue for me) and the price. But I also realize how much the price of chicken has increased too. I also ordered the onion rings. They came to the table hot and crisp and not too greasy. Good flavor too. No complaints. My wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The patty was cooked to her satisfaction. Tasted fresh and not greasy at all. The toppings were fresh as well. Her only complaint was she likes the bacon extra crispy. But she forgot to tell them, so can’t fault the cook. The French fries were cooked to her liking as well. Overall reaction to our experience was extremely positive. Serving time was just a tad slow and the floor could have been swept. But being short staffed can cause that.
