Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Platte City

I waited almost a half an hour in the Drive-Thru and it was readily apparent there was either no hustle by the staff or they were completely overwhelmed. There was no one in the dining room that I could tell.

As if that weren't bad enough, my over $10 chicken strip basket had literally 16 undercooked soggy fries in it, and a half a cup of watery gravy. I also was handed the box without a bag and it almost dumped in the drive-thru. I also had to ask for napkins, and didn't notice until I was already out of the driveway they didn't even give me a receipt for my credit card transaction.

if I can say one positive thing, and this is the only reason I'm not giving it one star, it's that the guy at the drive-thru was verbally friendly. All that said, this was the worst Dairy Queen experience I have had in a long time and I will definitely not...

Absolutely awful business practices are going on here. We ordered pumpkin pie blizzards for everyone in our vehicle. Spent over $40. We get to the highway and learn there are absolutely no pieces of pie crust (pie chips) so we called them and they willfully told us they don’t have any in their warehouse or store. They did not tell us we were only paying for half the ingredients. They charged $5 for a small that was literally ice cream. They are stealing from people. By the time people know it they are back on the highway with angry screaming kids! When I called to complain I was told by “Ian” that “you need to understand, these are high school kids”… I don’t care if they are elementary school, you don’t make up excuses and...

It’s was drive thru but very poor service, I had to say the order which was two orders three times. Was told that she couldn’t hear me. Get to the window and very rude and nasty person said is this on one order and I said for the fourth time this was two orders. She was very hateful said well you know if you spoke up maybe I would hear you and I said four times very loudly. She didn’t finish our order someone else did and one item was a medium white chocolate mocha shake and was given a small and my friend paid for a medium. I get better service at the st Joseph location on 169 hey better...
