Culver’s — Restaurant in Platte City

Driving through from California to South Dakota to visit my youngest brother and my new niece. We recently lost my mom and I am personally delivering my mother's ashes to my brother. I stopped off to grab a bite to eat somewhere unique to me. I quickly googled fast food chains near me and this establishment popped up. I pulled up to the most AMAZING customer service I've ever experienced through a drive-thru!! This type of service is a rarity and really unheard of these days!! So kudos for them!! I ordered the double bacon deluxe burger with french fries and a pepsi. I must say I am completely impressed with their food! Everything was hot to order as they advertise. I also ordered their cheese curds which are like mozzarella sticks but with cheddar in bitesize shapes. When I approach the window Jennifer was phenomenal! She was extremely pleasant professional and provided me with customer service beyond what I've ever expected from a drive-thru!!! I must say I am completely impressed with the management who hired her!! From window to bag ...to bite completely impressed!!They have a complete GEM as an employee!! She even offered my little fur babies small containers with whipped cream similar to the puppuccinos from Starbucks. SHE DEFINITELY GETS THE WINNING TICKET in my book!!! THE WINNING GOLDEN TICKET!! This culvers restaurant on S. 70th St. and pioneers Boulevard has been one of our favorite takeout restaurants ever since we moved to Lincoln in 2013

And the quality of the food is much better than at McDonald’s or Burger King

As an adult and a parent, for me the biggest positive with Culver’s is the cheerful and warm atmosphere inside the restaurant.

This atmosphere is cultivated and sustained by the staff who are very polite and personable with all the customers

Unlike other fast food restaurants which shall go unnamed, where the customers are made to feel like they have inconvenienced the staff by forcing them to work, by showing up, at Culver’s, I find a genuine, welcoming atmosphere and an eagerness to serve customers

The items on the menu were all made fresh to order and everyone in my family including me likes the food.

A few times when they gave us an incorrect item on the order, they always replaced it at no extra charge, with no questions asked and let us keep the original item.

The young lady who took our order was pleasant and knowledgeable about the products. Unfortunately, when the interior signs state the store is focused on a specific sandwich or dinner, it doesn't mean the item is discounted.

When I received my two piece North Atlantic cod dinner (over $11.00), the broccoli was still in some water, and neither it nor the dinner roll were warm enough to melt the one small cold butter spread I received. No, I didn't bring it to anyone's attention, because the coleslaw was cold and the cod was hot. I didn't try the tartar sauce, because the first ingredient is soybean oil.
