I was really excited to try this cute place. It's in an old, converted, tudor style home in Pleasant Grove with insufficient parking. The food was just okay, bland, and over-spiced... but what stood out the most was the annoying service. Our group needed to combine two tables together and they decided they didn't like it after all so they literally moved the tables back apart so we would be sitting in two groups when we said "Hey, really this is fine. We like this." So we moved it back ourselves about a minute later. The staff became super visibly annoyed and definitely did not go out of their way to (easily) accommodate a simple request. We had the entire room (past bedroom) to ourselves and they were annoyed to help us eat together when the change fit perfectly fine. Nice. Also, the names of thai dishes are super foreign to all of us so we couldn't remember the names of what we ordered. I expect a novice server to know which plate goes to which seat. Nope! They came into the room saying "Who ordered the MEE KROB RAD NA?" None of our group knew anything we ordered. It was a disaster on top of them bringing multiple dishes that weren't even for our room. They brought one dish out at a time, each several minutes apart. The first served in our group of 12 were finished eating before the last of our group even received their food about 25 minutes later. We had higher expectations but were more than disappointed. The service could have so easily been fantastic but instead they were annoyed the entire time. We weren't loud. We weren't crazy. Nothing. Also two medium-sized spiders on the wall and ceiling of our little bedroom sort of made it hard to eat. 11 of our group of 12 drove from Salt Lake to celebrate a birthday here. Sadly, this will not be our new favorite little thai...

Thai House Cuisine in Pleasant Grove is a delightful culinary gem that never fails to satisfy my Thai food cravings. What sets this restaurant apart is not only the exquisite flavors of their dishes but also the charming atmosphere created by its location in a historic downtown home. The fusion of traditional Thai cuisine with the quaint ambiance of the historic building makes for a unique and enjoyable dining experience.

I am a regular customer at Thai House Cuisine, drawn in by the warm and welcoming service provided by the family who owns and runs the restaurant. Their personal touch adds a special charm to the place, and they've come to know me, creating a sense of familiarity that enhances my dining experience.

Two dishes that keep me coming back for more are the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry. The Pad Thai boasts a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, with tender noodles and an abundance of fresh ingredients. The Massaman Curry, on the other hand, is a rich and aromatic delight, showcasing the chef's skill in blending spices to perfection.

Whether I'm in the mood for a quick takeout order or a leisurely sit-down meal, Thai House Cuisine accommodates both seamlessly. The convenience of ordering takeout is a big plus for my busy lifestyle, and when I do decide to dine in, the cozy atmosphere of the historic home adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. Thai House Cuisine is a culinary haven where delicious flavors, personalized service, and a touch of history come together...

I've eaten lots of Thai food and this was... decent.

The service: Pretty quick & attentive. Quick at refilling drinks. Allowed us to sit in the restaurant for about an hour chatting after we finished eating (it was kind of a dead time and there weren't other customers waiting).

The food: We ordered Red Curry (husband's favorite), Broccoli & Beef (I was in the mood for a classic) plus Pad Thai (we like noodles too).

My husband loved the curry (and I'm a sucker for anything with bamboo so I approved as well). The Pad Thai was also delicious. The Broccoli & Beef was a major disappointment. No flavor. The veggies (broccoli & carrots) weren't steamed for long enough so they were SUPER crunchy still. And the beef felt & tasted so inauthentic and fake. Major disappointment. The other dissapointing thing was the overcooked rice. It was SO sticky. And not just sticky rice but overcooked, gummy rice. That didn't help.

The prices were great, the house it is in is cute and it's so close to our house that we'll definitely be back but we were a little bit disappointed by the dish...

My Experience at Thai House Cuisine I’ve been a fan of Thai House Cuisine since I first visited their two locations in Utah County. Both restaurants are housed in beautiful, historic homes, giving each a cozy and charming atmosphere that makes dining there feel special. Since they opened in 2000, Thai House Cuisine has consistently impressed me with their authentic Thai flavors. Every dish I’ve tried is bursting with fresh ingredients, rich in flavor, and cooked with care. It’s clear that they really know their craft. One of my favorite things to order is everything! Seriously, I’ve tried almost everything the past few years and nothing has disappointed! I stopped in for a quick lunch today and this is the perfect combo. Inside tip- make sure you save room for the Purple Mango Sticky Rice — it’s the perfect sweet ending to any meal. I always leave satisfied and eager to return. If you’re looking for genuine Thai food in Utah County, I highly recommend Thai House Cuisine — you won’t be disappointed!

This place was awesome! Had a wonderful time last night. New favorite restaurant hands down. Things which stood out. 1. Food was not faked. It seemed authentic and fresh. 2. Even though the parking lot was full and they were understaffed (and both their staff appeared to be new and being trained) our food came quickly and the staff were polite and kind. 3. The price was reasonable. As we walked in there was a sign which stated "Sorry we had to raise our prices. We know it sucks." And yet my wife and I both had an entree and shared the most expensive appetizer and we still made it out of there for around $35 (before tip). We thought this was very reasonable for the quality of the food. 4. It's in an old house... We thought it made it was unique and fun. Will be definitely going back :)

Mmmmmmm!! We have come here many many times for the past 14 years and still love it so much. Our go-to choices to order are the Massaman Curry, the Tom Ka Gai soup, and Pad Thai. The Mango Curry is very tasty as well and does have some spice to it... just fyi. As far as ambiance, I do wish the lighting was more soft and that the tables weren't so close together. But I realize that it also adds to the experience of dining in an old house. The tasty food more than makes up for the lighting. I also like that there are some pictures inside of the menu. That always helps me decide what to order. We will come back again soon!!
