I was really excited to try this cute place. It's in an old, converted, tudor style home in Pleasant Grove with insufficient parking. The food was just okay, bland, and over-spiced... but what stood out the most was the annoying service. Our group needed to combine two tables together and they decided they didn't like it after all so they literally moved the tables back apart so we would be sitting in two groups when we said "Hey, really this is fine. We like this." So we moved it back ourselves about a minute later. The staff became super visibly annoyed and definitely did not go out of their way to (easily) accommodate a simple request. We had the entire room (past bedroom) to ourselves and they were annoyed to help us eat together when the change fit perfectly fine. Nice. Also, the names of thai dishes are super foreign to all of us so we couldn't remember the names of what we ordered. I expect a novice server to know which plate goes to which seat. Nope! They came into the room saying "Who ordered the MEE KROB RAD NA?" None of our group knew anything we ordered. It was a disaster on top of them bringing multiple dishes that weren't even for our room. They brought one dish out at a time, each several minutes apart. The first served in our group of 12 were finished eating before the last of our group even received their food about 25 minutes later. We had higher expectations but were more than disappointed. The service could have so easily been fantastic but instead they were annoyed the entire time. We weren't loud. We weren't crazy. Nothing. Also two medium-sized spiders on the wall and ceiling of our little bedroom sort of made it hard to eat. 11 of our group of 12 drove from Salt Lake to celebrate a birthday here. Sadly, this will not be our new favorite little thai...

I am a regular customer at Thai House Cuisine, drawn in by the warm and welcoming service provided by the family who owns and runs the restaurant. Their personal touch adds a special charm to the place, and they've come to know me, creating a sense of familiarity that enhances my dining experience.
Two dishes that keep me coming back for more are the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry. The Pad Thai boasts a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, with tender noodles and an abundance of fresh ingredients. The Massaman Curry, on the other hand, is a rich and aromatic delight, showcasing the chef's skill in blending spices to perfection.

The convenience of ordering takeout is a big plus for my busy lifestyle, and when I do decide to dine in, the cozy atmosphere of the historic home adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. Read moreI've eaten lots of Thai food and this was... decent.
The service: Pretty quick & attentive. Quick at refilling drinks. Allowed us to sit in the restaurant for about an hour chatting after we finished eating (it was kind of a dead time and there weren't other customers waiting).
The food: We ordered Red Curry (husband's favorite), Broccoli & Beef (I was in the mood for a classic) plus Pad Thai (we like noodles too).
My husband loved the curry (and I'm a sucker for anything with bamboo so I approved as well). The Pad Thai was also delicious. The Broccoli & Beef was a major disappointment. No flavor. The veggies (broccoli & carrots) weren't steamed for long enough so they were SUPER crunchy still. And the beef felt & tasted so inauthentic and fake. Major disappointment. The other dissapointing thing was the overcooked rice. It was SO sticky. And not just sticky rice but overcooked, gummy rice. That didn't help.
The prices were great, the house it is in is cute and it's so close to our house that we'll definitely be back but we were a little bit disappointed by the dish...
