The. Worst. Experience. Ever. I first want to say, the girls who were working the front counter were amazing and doing the best they could. They were dealing with so much and had zero support from the owner. We went to Cravings on 6/16/2022 for lunch. We arrived at 1:15pm and ordered our food. They had signs hung up and they let us know they were short staffed so it would be a 45min wait for our food. Long wait for a grilled cheese, but okay. Literally 90 minutes later and we still did not have our food. Customers in the lobby were obviously upset. Some customers asked to speak with the manager (which is also the owner) and she refused to come out from the kitchen. I personally witnessed this, and we were told by the employees she refuses to come out and talk with anyone. Once 90 minutes hit with no food, I went and asked again how much longer; they said it was coming right out. I said I could not wait any longer and would like a refund. The girl was so kind and was doing her best, but she let me know the manager said, "absolutely no refunds!" A few more minutes go by and still no food. At that point I said I need to talk to the owner. The girl went to the back to speak with her and you could literally hear the owner yelling and screaming and said, "fine! Refund him then!" The poor girl who went to talk with her was basically in tears. New customers that were in line witnessed what happened, they left the store and made comments as they left. I understand things are crazy with staffing, and some things are out of anyone's control. What I am upset about is the lack of leadership and support the owner gave to her employees. Shame on her for cowardly hiding in the back, yelling and screaming and making those young girls deal with everything on their own. She should have owned up and took responsibility. At the very least she personally could have come out talked with the guests...

Everything we've heard about this place is great, but we unfortunately didn't have the experience that most have, apparently 🙄 we parked in front and ordered online for curbside pickup because...COVID 👍 and the email confirmation said it would be 25 minutes. Not the best with a hungry 2 yr old, but doable! After 25 minutes I called to check in on it since I never got a response from the text number they gave in the email. I was put on hold for 5 minutes and when I was able to speak with someone the girl seemed confused about my order - kept asking my name and such even though I know it went through because I got the confirmation email! Anyway, she then seemed to switch gears and pretend like she saw it was almost done and she'd bring it out shortly. So we waited...and waited...pretty soon it was 30 minutes later and no food 😬 I called again, no answer. Called again, no answer. Called again, finally the girl picks up and I say in probably not my sweetest voice that we've been waiting outside for AN HOUR at this point and still don't have our food. She says "oh! It just got done. I'll bring it out" and sure enough out she comes 10 seconds later, avoids eye contact, hands me the bag and walks away as fast as she can. Can't say I blame her, as I was pretty cranky at this point! But the food was COLD. Not sure how long it had been sitting on the counter waiting for them to bring out to us. Possibly for that entire extra half hour of time? Disorganized at best. The food may have been great...if it were hot! My Caesar salad had a generous amount of chicken 👍 but it was in a huge chunk so difficult to eat with the salad an insane amount of parmesan cheese that overpowered everything else, so next time I'd probably order something else! I really don't normally leave bad reviews, but that wait really gave me time to get a bit cranky about the...

So I have mixed feelings after eating here. First of all the kitchen workers were not wearing masks which made us uncomfortable in the current situation of corona cases rising, and we could see them moving very slowly and lazily in the kitchen not in too much of a hurry to get people’s food out which added to the concern are they keeping our food clean? I would suggest immediate correction if they want to keep customer confidence both in workers pace and especially in hygiene by wearing masks in this crazy time. We saw the reviews on Yelp and google and got super excited about this place because it had been so hyped up by the locals. Me and my wife both came in super hungry and ready to eat. After 25 minutes of staring at their signs that read “when you’re asking yourself what’s taking so long, just remember it’s great food, not fast food.” To us as hungry customers that just made us focus more on our hunger and how our food wasn’t there yet which did not make it a very satisfying experience. I would suggest taking the signs down and having the cashiers state how long it will take or make it more of a sit down restaurant feel. To top it off when we got our food it was decent but nothing that blew us out of the water. If you make homemade Mac and cheese that’s all it is just add bacon instead of spending almost 5 bucks there. The salad took 15 minutes to come out as well and the dressing was not very tasty and there was no real way to mix it in nicely cause it was packed to the brim in a small plastic container. The BBQ bacon Mac sandwich was alright. The noodles were undercooked in the sandwich and did not contribute very well to the texture or flavor. It’s a good “try and be disappointed” and a “one and done visit only” kind...

Cravings Bistro was a Go-To restaurant for my wife and I before moving to Boston two years ago. The Sandwiches (even the half sizes) were large, the quality of the food was top-notch, and the dining area was clean and maintained. After moving back from the east, we found that things have declined somewhat. Sandwich sizes seem to have shrunk (perhaps due to new bread sourcing). The Monte Cristo sandwich I got was dry with sparse fillings compared to previously getting a nice and plump filled sandwich. The serving of Jam on the side came in a container so small you have to dump it out onto the plate to dip the sandwich and doesn't last for the whole meal. Immediately after entering the business, there was a faint lingering smell of body odor or poor hygiene. Something similar to muted version of a comic or gaming convention. The tables were infrequently cleaned off. The tables and chairs also have that characteristic sticky feel of old fast food restaurant booths made from years of collecting human oils and food debris. Parking can be difficult at lunch and dinner times, though there are ample spaces just a short walk up and down the block. The entrance is wheelchair compatible though there is no door open assist. Public restrooms are available and generally very clean. This was a great place to eat and can be again, but they need to shut down for a day or two, do a deep clean of the facility, take a hard look at the increasingly dated looking shabby chic interior décor, (and in my opinion, embrace the industrial look which is already present in the riveted steel reception counter, light fixtures, and exposed timber and steel truss ceiling), and somehow improve air circulation to address the stagnant air.

OH.MY.FOOD.HEAVENS. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE. If I even have to say a semi negative thing about it, it's that I would have liked the bacon to be more savory than sweet in my Turkey Bacon Avacado grilled cheese. But even with that, it's was phenomenal. My husband got the monthly special- pot roast with cream cheese onion, jalapenos, cheese and sweet chili jelly on french bread, and came with sweet potato fries and a house drink for 9.95. the house drink was called "love potion" which was a delicious and unique take on a virgin strawberry daquiri. I got the TBA and a cup of corn chowder. The corn chowder tasted like Thanksgiving to me. It was mind blowing. I never get soup anywhere else besides Zupas and this was amazing. Better than Zupas soups. My kids got a regular grilled cheese (delish) and pizza sticks, which is a grilled cheese sandwich with marinara and pepperoni inside. It tasted like a really good pizza. The sweet potato fries were delicious, too. they also serve cookies that look incredible. If there were more than 5 stars, I'd give them alllllll the stars. Coming back for sure, and can't wait til I do. Also, plenty of seating, and a kids corner area with a play kitchen and a toy cube.
