I went there recently on Cinco de mayo with my party. One of the first things that stood out was how loud the music was blaring in the restaurant. Our entire table was uncomfortable and we had to repeat our orders over and over again to our waitress. Next issue was the unsanitary way they handled their jello shots to the customers. They were brought out in a big gray dish tub with no gloves, and brought by for customers to grab as they went by the tables. After our table had placed our orders, our orders came out messed up and the other half didn't even show up until our table was done eating and it was about time to leave (the restaurant wasn't even packed, more than half the restaurant was empty). I had repeated my order to the waitress four times that she was missing my two pork tacos and I still hadn't gotten my Coke after I'd been sitting there for over an hour. One of our table members had to go up to the bar and get the drink instead. One of our table members asked for 5 tacos, only received three, and almost got charged for five. After reporting this issue to the manager and the waitress (after a bit of arguing and complaining between us) all they could come up with was to give our table free chips and salsa (After we had been asking for additional chips ever since our party sat down). She compensated us, with free table chips? The entire table was upset and irrated at the poor performance of the waitress and the judgement of the manager. I'd convinced my table to not pay any tips to the waitress and to only tip the bar. Because at least they got drinks out on time. You're better off buying frozen burritos and cooking them yourself because at least then you'd get your food right...
Read moreWent here for the first time and took my order to go. I had the enchiladas rancheras, fish and beef taco with cilantro and onion for dinner. Carne asada for lunch the next day. The place was a bit busy because it was Cinco de mayo. I didn't have to wait for too long for my food either, I might of waited 15 minutes so not bad. I recommend the fish taco and drizzle it with lime juice, it was delicious. The Carne asada was good as well, but the beef could of used some seasonings. The enchiladas was on point, but can use some more sauce. I've also attached some photos of the menu since the website does not have it.
Edit: Went here two more times, and my experience had dramatically changed. So much so that I had to give it 1 star. First, the food like the shrimp burrito, and steak burrito, was just a few shrimps and steaks pieces wrapped in a tortilla that's it! No rice, beans and whatever else is supposed to be in a burrito. I was then given an attitude when I asked for salsa sauce with the nachos, because it didn't come with it, by the way this was all for pick up. Just the overall attitude of the staff was very bad, not welcoming, had attitude, and did not want to be bothered. The overall cleanliness was dirty and messy. Not sure what happened from the first time I came here to the last 2 but I will surely not be coming back. What a...
Read moreI used to rave about Azteca 3. Spent many birthdays there, many celebrations, many dining out nights. But it has gone drastically downhill. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Service is pretty much non-existent. It took 20 minutes to even have them take our drink order, they forgot about my cocktail, never refilled drinks, chips, anything. They dropped off our food and forgot an order of rice and beans. Before we could even mention it, they ran off and never came back to the table. The steak in the steak tacos was grisly, dry, and flavorless. The chicken tacos were dripping wet with broth and the shells disintegrated. Our kid didn't get ketchup for their fries, which they had asked for. We waited another 30 minutes after eating to get the bill. That's when we were finally able to tell them about the beans and rice. He asked if we wanted it now, we declined since we had already finished eating half an hour prior. My husband paid the bill and we left. The waiter came rushing out claiming we did not pay and were dining and dashing. My husband showed him our receipt and he still insisted. The cashier came out and pointed to a different car. He didn't apologize, just ran off after that car. I'm sad to say I'll never go back there. They were the best Azteca in town, and my favorite restaurant in the qc. But that just...
