Hungry Hobo — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

Seriously disappointed!!! Ordered online due to a fussy baby and went in to pick it up. Was a few minutes over the time it was supposed to be done to walking in and having them still preparing it. That is fine...however as they were making my sandwich I seen it wasn't made correctly. Upon getting my food I opened it up and let them know it wasn't right. Simmy came out from behind the counter to ask what wasn't right. Her tone was very unprofessional as she told me someone didn't write it down correctly even though the chit on the bag had my order. I just already had been waiting 10 to 15 minutes inside and over the time of pick up. She said sorry...we were having problems with our CO2 in quite a tone. Behind the counter she was also mumbling then slammed my sandwich on the counter after she fixed it. I then asked her name and pointed out her tone with her sorry doesn't mean she truly was sorry. With working in management for over 20 years I wouldn't tolerate this rude tone. I get things go wrong and believe me I'd rather have fresh food. However, upon noting my frustrations her fellow co worker working the window started being a smart Alec and screaming have a good night and then ran outside to continue to do so.

Sorry but when times are like they are for the restaurants now this is not how you treat people. We are paying their paychecks...customer who will return and keep the business going. I will not come back to this location to be...

I used to love Hungry Hobo. They were quick and efficient at the old location. At this new location there has always been an issue. Today, I ordered online. It said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I ordered at 11:30 am I get it is a busy time for them so I was there a little before noon. I pulled into the curbside spot. The sign says to contact them to let them know you are there. Well, you can’t call them between 11-1 pm and there’s no way through app to let them know either. The lady in the drive through kept making eye contact with me. I presumed she may let someone know I was there to pick up an order. I waited about 10 minutes after 12 pm and then I went in. I got inside. My order ticket was on the counter and not even started, when it was to be picked up ready at noon, so ten minutes after noon it hadn’t been started yet. The service rep. finally had them start making my order. The place did have a bit of a lunch rush, but the staff was in no hurry. They will get you your order at their pace. If you have 15-20 minutes for lunch. I’d skip this stop. When I finally got my order I had a sandwich that was wrong and no cheese with my cheddar fries. I’m glad I went through the bag. Maybe next year I’ll try again. But I will not be returning...

This was my first time coming. Service was absolutely the worst. After being ignored, I was then told only drive thru orders. We go thru drive thru and as the order takers are giggling they kept saying “we can’t hear you” even though I was yelling my order, finally I got out my car and walked up the the order box to give my order.. still being told “I can’t hear you” . Finally I’m told I can’t have Turkey on my grilled mushroom even though the menu states “WHITE MEAT” but as they laughed they told us no. At this point in frustrated and canceled the order. I make it to the window to get a manager name and they WOULD NOT even come to the window. This was my first time to this place and after this service I will let it be known to anyone asking that it was trash service from children playing in a business...
