My wife and her parents and I had lunch there today, 7/21/25. We each got a different dish, and we all loved what we had. My father-in-law had the lamb vindaloo, my mother-in-law had the chicken tikka, my wife had the lamb saag and I had the chicken korma. The in-laws had the mango lassi which they loved, but my FIL really wanted a salted lassi, which they didn't offer. We ordered plain naan as well. All dishes were delicious and had great portion sizes for the price. My MIL ordered her's very mild as she is very sensitive to spice/heat and she still thought it was a little spicy. But take that with a grain of salt. Mild Chi-Chi's salsa is too much for her. They told us that it would be 15-20 minutes for the entrees which was a nice warning, and it came out in that time frame. I've had better more authentic naan, though. This was more like "white people" naan and I expected a larger portion for the price, but it was still good. They're a new business, just a couple weeks old and if they're starting out this good, I expect they will learn from...

Absolutely blown away by the flavors at this gem of a restaurant! From the first bite to the last, everything was bursting with authentic taste and perfectly balanced spices.

The Jalapeño Chicken was a fiery delight — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with just the right kick to wake up your taste buds. The Chicken 65 was equally outstanding — tender, spicy, and packed with that signature South Indian flair.

We also tried a variety of Biryani dishes, and every single one was aromatic, richly layered, and cooked to perfection. Pair that with their soft, buttery Naan and you’re in food heaven.

And don’t even think about leaving without trying the Carrot Halwa — warm, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The perfect end to an incredible meal.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance made it feel both comfortable and special. This place is officially on my favorites list — highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, flavorful...

Overall, an amazing Indian restaurant. I appreciated the small amount of tables, as it made the experience feel more catered to the tables they did have. Right away, we were welcomed warmly and helped to a booth. The music was ethnically fitting and generally added to the authentic experience. Our server was very professional and nice, and had a good sense of urgency. The food was excellent!! We had the babycorn65, and we didn't know what to expect. But it was just the right level of spicy (we had mango lassi anyhow if it became too much), and turned out to be an astounding appetizer. We both had garlic naan and butter chicken. The portion size for the butter chicken was very generous, and the garlic naan was a perfect pairing for it. We've had a lot of butter chicken, and I would say that Desi Monks falls more on the high end of quality. Would eat here again! And...

Finally got to try this restaurant out, had a very good experience. Food is made very well and served in large portions. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food you get. Most impressive with this restaurant is the quality of service. Every single person from all the waitresses to the owner himself, care equally about making sure you have everything you need even though they may not be the ones who initially served you. We ordered about 10 dishes. Everything was great, but I would highly recommend the dosas! Coming from a big city and experiencing authentic dosas, this is definitely checks all the boxes for South Indian food/flavors. Would definitely recommend! Just a note: the food is generally spicier by default than one might expect. Also, meat is halal only. Wished non halal meat was served given that this is not a Pakistani restaurant.

Had a flavorful experience! Started with the Karampodi Chicken. Spicy and packed with South Indian flair. Definitely a must-try appetizer! For the entrée, I had the Andhra Chicken Curry with butter naan, full of authentic Andhra-style spices. It paired perfectly with the buttery naan. The Boneless Chicken Biryani was aromatic and well-balanced, with tender chicken pieces and fragrant basmati rice, a hearty main course! Wrapped up the meal with rice pudding, which was a light and comforting dessert to end on a sweet note. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving bold and authentic Indian flavors, especially the Karampodi Chicken!

Our server Kiran was kind and attentive and our food was delicious. My uncle just came back from London having incredible Indian food there less than a month ago, and he was impressed with the balanced flavors. Portions for the price are good (1-2x meals from one order imo). For a new place it can be difficult to get everything right so I think they are doing a fantastic job. Please give them a try, you will have lots of options to choose from oh and grab the Mango Lassi, so good! In the picture in Vindaloo. Desi, don't be afraid to give me authentic spicy, I'll ask for Spicer next time ha!
