My wife and her parents and I had lunch there today, 7/21/25. We each got a different dish, and we all loved what we had. My father-in-law had the lamb vindaloo, my mother-in-law had the chicken tikka, my wife had the lamb saag and I had the chicken korma. The in-laws had the mango lassi which they loved, but my FIL really wanted a salted lassi, which they didn't offer. We ordered plain naan as well. All dishes were delicious and had great portion sizes for the price. My MIL ordered her's very mild as she is very sensitive to spice/heat and she still thought it was a little spicy. But take that with a grain of salt. Mild Chi-Chi's salsa is too much for her. They told us that it would be 15-20 minutes for the entrees which was a nice warning, and it came out in that time frame. I've had better more authentic naan, though. This was more like "white people" naan and I expected a larger portion for the price, but it was still good. They're a new business, just a couple weeks old and if they're starting out this good, I expect they will learn from...
Read moreAbsolutely blown away by the flavors at this gem of a restaurant! From the first bite to the last, everything was bursting with authentic taste and perfectly balanced spices.
The Jalapeño Chicken was a fiery delight — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with just the right kick to wake up your taste buds. The Chicken 65 was equally outstanding — tender, spicy, and packed with that signature South Indian flair.
We also tried a variety of Biryani dishes, and every single one was aromatic, richly layered, and cooked to perfection. Pair that with their soft, buttery Naan and you’re in food heaven.
And don’t even think about leaving without trying the Carrot Halwa — warm, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The perfect end to an incredible meal.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance made it feel both comfortable and special. This place is officially on my favorites list — highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, flavorful...
Read moreOverall, an amazing Indian restaurant. I appreciated the small amount of tables, as it made the experience feel more catered to the tables they did have. Right away, we were welcomed warmly and helped to a booth. The music was ethnically fitting and generally added to the authentic experience. Our server was very professional and nice, and had a good sense of urgency. The food was excellent!! We had the babycorn65, and we didn't know what to expect. But it was just the right level of spicy (we had mango lassi anyhow if it became too much), and turned out to be an astounding appetizer. We both had garlic naan and butter chicken. The portion size for the butter chicken was very generous, and the garlic naan was a perfect pairing for it. We've had a lot of butter chicken, and I would say that Desi Monks falls more on the high end of quality. Would eat here again! And...
