Crawford Brew Works — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

I held an event at The Mezz @ CBW and the space is great. My favorite part about it is the private full bar and private bathroom. Tom worked the bar and provided table service during our event, which was above and beyond what I expected. There is also a variety of drinks available, which was really nice for guests who are not craft beer drinkers (all the drinks were delicious). We brought in a caterer, which was perfect- Tom and the caterer coordinated together so I didn't need to worry about anything. Multiple TV's was also awesome- would be great for showing sports events, but I was able to connect my laptop to the TV to show a photo slideshow. The A/V capabilities made for an extra special feature for the event. The room is open and bright (huge windows let in lots of natural light), and very clean. Also, we were able to decorate the room to fit our theme, which was nice. Tom is super flexible and accommodating - everything we asked for or needed was exceeded. Our group was very impressed with the space. I highly recommend The Mezz@CBW, and would absolutely come back again for any events...

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here. They were very quick to respond initially, however along the way there were some minor miscommunication issues which is why we rated a 4/5 stars.

I called two weeks before the rehearsal dinner for an update because we were supposed to have a meeting over the phone a few months before our event regarding details for the event, but no one called us.

Along the process, they hired a new event coordinator, Ashly, and our experience was a lot better. She was just an awesome human, super organized, positive, super helpful. She was writing down everything I wanted for the rehearsal dinner during our meeting and sent me the notes that same day. She also went on a vacation just before our rehearsal dinner and was still kind enough to check her emails to answer my questions/concerns. Very hard working individual and very detail oriented.

The night of the rehearsal dinner went very well, the bar tender was awesome and attentive, the space was clean, they even played the playlist that we wanted. I would recommend this place...

Not impressed with the new kitchen. Preferred the food trucks. It took over 10 minutes before somebody even acknowledged us to get us something to drink. Another 10 to 15 minutes before they came to offer an order for appetizer or meal. The meal came out in pieces. We were only a table of four. The food was average. The burger tasted similar to fast food and the fries were soggy. We were not offered any refills on our soft drinks but of course we were offered to buy another beer. We did not have one dedicated server. There were 3 to 4 different staff helping throughout the 1 hour and 20 minutes it took us to get burgers. There was no consistency to the serving staff. People that arrived after us received their food, were able to eat and had their check well before we did which made no sense.
